    I'm at home out on medical leave, and watching you with that new Technics is like hanging out with a buddy checking out new gear. I feel better already. Now that i'm close to retire, my wife doesn't mind me indulging in a little audio here and there. Thanks for hanging out with new toys.

      You’re most welcome, and thanks for hanging! It’s much appreciated!

    It’s probably all anyone would ever need . Slow down a little when saying the names of the album and show the cover. I watch reviews for the music recommendations as much as the equipment. Enjoyed it

    Thanks for this review. Appreciate the comment for the +bass tone control. I have the big brother and it’s a similar case for me. Did you have any experience using those quads with the technics? I’m searching for a pair around that price range. Thanks again

      I had a short time with the quads and the technics. They sounded fabulous. Both of them.

    It was a very complete review. It would be better if a large color screen was installed in the device. What do you think about the comparison of this device with Cambridge Audio Evo 150?

      @@0102studio Is it supposed to be a review or review and comparison of two devices?
      Also, if it is compared with CXA81+CXN V2, it will be great.

    I have the Technics and instead of enjoying it right now I'm watching your review on it. This little amp is packed with a lot. I do wish that the technics had dedicated sub output(s) with crossover controls instead of just one set of pre-outs. I also think that the app being so feature rich should have a full EQ option built in. Hoping this could be in a future update. Just out of curiousity, did you use the LAPC on all of the speakers you paired with the technics ? I feel like this is where the technics really shines. I've paired it with a pair of revel f35, JBL 4312SE, and I just picked up a pair or HECO Aurora 300's that I want to try with it next. So far it runs everything with ease that I've thrown at it. I'd love to hear the technics up against the Yamaha R-N1000A and the Marantz Stereo 70S. I think they both have a lot of similar features. That being said, I'd still love to demo the older Arcam SA30. I've been curious about running this as a pre-amp to add a little more umph and glad to see that you've tried it out. Thanks for your review. I feel like you and I see the Technics in very similar light. I look forward to watching some of your other reviews.

      You’re not the first to ask about my LAPC ommision! There was just so mich to cover. I did run it on my speakers and it does make a difference. Whether or not its better is user dependent. I found it worked well.

      Yeah, there is a quite lot going on with the technics feature set. Hard to put it all in a 12 minute video. The FM tuner is another one some might find convenient.

    Like you I use the tone controls pretty heavily, do the bass tone controls on this amp make a big impact say from 1-10? On some amps they make more of a noticeable difference than others

    • @0102studio
      @0102studio  4 месяца назад +1

      I found they augmented the bass quite well. Not just subtlely. The room modes/ settings helped quite a bit too.
