Ohhh I am drooling!! 🤤 I’m visiting London from the US in June for my birthday and I’m a massive stationery and art store person. I already had all of these shops on my list 🙈 but I LOVE seeing inside the shops and what people get and there’s not enough videos out there that show them. This one came at the perfect time! Hoping I can find some gorgeous scissors like that! Happy belated birthday!! 🎉
Oh wow! Hopefully the weather will be nice for you when you visit. So glad you enjoyed my video. You can buy the scissors online also but if you did want to get them in London there is a shop in Kings Cross Station called 'CURIOCITY' that stocks them! Hope you have a wonderful trip! 🎉😃
Ahh Missing london so much! Choosing Keeping has such a nice vibe and I'm dying to check out their physical store. Have always wanted to order from their online store but it's quite expensive to ship to where I live. Definitely up there on my bucket list! :)
I do _love_ an art supply store! I'd love to have one of those large paper cutters. I love little tins, too. There's just something about them. Thank you so much!
From Toronto, Canada. Muji is the best economical choice for fountain pens, enjoy. Got a couple of Leuchtturm1917 A5 books embossed for my birthday in a month's time, Happy Birthday.
Oh amazing I love Muji! I haven't tried the fountain pens yet, I'll make sure to check them out next time I go. Happy Birthday to you too for next month! 🥳
I also recommend Postmark (I think you spotlighted that before?!) I found a store in London Bridge station. It has a lovely selection of Washi tape - I bought one that looks like petals of a cherry blossom. It also has a lovely selection of journals and pencils.
Yes they do ship online. I couldn't find the shipping information on the website but if you add to the basket you'll see the shipping options. Although I also prefer going in store and having a look around. 😄❤
Hey Abbey! Absolutely had to show off your book 😉. So glad you enjoyed my video. Definitely think you'd love Present & Correct, it's a cute little store!👍😄
Loving these recommendations, thank you! I also recommend a place called Cornelissons, just near the British Museum which is like a cross between an art shop and Ollivander’s wand shop. Old Victorian style shelves and full of art treasures.
Wish you a very happy birthday! I love how you decided to spend your birthday doing what you ❤️ This video definitely game me the plan I am gonna do on my birthday as well! Will be making a list of all the stationery shops I want to visit✨
That box is perfect for journaling on the go. You could easily pop a few stickers, wrap a length of washi tape around cardstock, or even put an extra fountain pen cartridge in there!
i also was treated to kaweco DIY berry kaweco sport plus a limited kaweco royal amethyst from goldspot pens for my birthday and mother's day, wishing you a happy birthday.
I hv always loved stationeries, scrapbooking and journalling. But when time was bad, I was given the options to throw away my beloved stuffs including my customised pages for my smashbooks/scrapbook journals so to create space. Or I can keep my stuffs without any working space to sit and work on my scrapbooking. I had to throw away all my favourite novels, my collections of figurines, Precious Thoughts… I own nothing really. Nothing is really mine. When I see your video, I wished I could show off mine 😢
Sherherds Inc. On Gillingham Street near Victoria Station is also fantastic for stationery items, papers, and bookbinding supplies. It's such a beautiful shop!
I really enjoyed your video. Lovely gifts. I’m so happy you received a Kaweco. It will most likely be the first of many. I have 9. And I love them all.
I was in London on Thursday and I went to all these stores 😂 plus a few bookshops too. Great minds 😉 I also visited the Hello Kitty Cafe in Somerset House as well as the Cute exhibition. There’s a new one opening in Birmingham Primark. Also 🎉Happy belated Birthday! 🎉
Haha amazing! I also visited Somerset House 🤣 I wanted to go in the cafe but the line was so long and we didn't have time to wait. It looked so fun though! Thank you for your comment 😃✨
@@JodiLakinArt hehe I was sneaky and went an hour before it closed. No queue! Didn’t buy anything as I was off to dinner but interesting to see what they had! I saw the Harry Potter plays last year when I got a cheap deal - I agree that it’s very magical! 🪄
Hi Jodi … Just came across your channel and am obsessed! Would it be possible to do a beginners must haves video? I would love to get my teenagers journaling but don’t want get carried away. Thanks ❤
Nice vid. Kind of crazy that Choosing Keeping are still getting away with selling repackaged standard grade gansai paints such as Kissho and Sumimundo brands at 5 times the cost of Amazon Japan and other domestic Japanese retailers. It's like charging premium prices for Derwent or Winsor & Newton to people unfamiliar with common UK products. The packaging is nice but saving money is nicer lol
What a funny coincidence, those are the same stores I visited over two visits to London in the last couple weeks (though Cass Arts was closed by the time we got there, whoops!). I still fantasize about the pan of lapis lazuli at Choosing Keeping and the retro colour-themed watercolour sets...
? I order from Choosing Keeping all the time. I'm in the US and they DO sell online. And everything comes beautifully wrapped in their handmade papers, even the outer shipping box. No VAT on orders under 800 USD. And they ship to most countries.
Great video! Well apart from the bit where you scared me by saying Choosing Keeping doesn’t do mail order. I thought they’d stopped doing it but they still do! Although they now have a £10 minimum, which is fine by me, my previous orders have all been over that amount. 😂
I'm Belgian. This made me want to visit London so much...And I hope to do so very soon. Maybe I should do an art haul in Bruges. Or a visit to the many artists there. Bye.
I'm going to London on Saturday so I wanted to go into a good stationary shop but I don't which one. I'm really into the leather bound journals. Do any of those shops you mentioned have them? P.S. Happy Belated Birthday!
Aaww sorry I didn't reply in time! I hope you had an amazing time. I would say the only leather bound journals I remember seeing were the TN ones in the London Graphic Centre. 😃✨
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments🥰! Just to let you know Choosing Keeping DOES have an online store! 🤗❤
Great

Love Corneilssons too. Although it’s an art store there are some stationary items as well
Oh yes I forgot this one. I'll make sure to check it out next time! 😁
Amazing art shop established in 1855. Imagine how many famous artists would have walked through that door!
I wish they had stationary stores here still. Love them!
Papier and Paper Source if you are US based!
I may have to go to London just for Choosing Keeping 🥰 so amazing
I'm in the US, I order from Choosing Keeping all the time. They do sell online.

I don't know why but I found this video so soothing! And now I really want to go notebook shopping!
Liberty of London also has a beautiful stationary section ✏️ 📚
Ooo thank you for this I'll have to check it out next time I'm in London! 😁
I spot my book 😂 enjoyed watching your video! Hoping to visit Present and Correct someday 😊

Wasn’t Bury Place a stamp and craft store, I went there a couple of times.
I am envious, I collect stationery and everything that goes with it. I have a small collection of vintage office supplies and fountain pens.
Oh wow, I'd love to see your collection, it sounds amazing!
Sherherds Inc. On Gillingham Street near Victoria Station is also fantastic for stationery items, papers, and bookbinding supplies. It's such a beautiful shop!

Great haul of lovely stationary. Love the the Harry Potter tape. 😊
I do the same thing for my birthday and visit all my fave London art supply shops! I love your video.
