      Chains are so you don't over lock it and hoppers use them so the spring don't go flying out when there hopping the only bad with having chains is it's going to take away from your lock up

    • @7synergy917
      @7synergy917  Месяц назад +1

      @Robert-jx8nr honestly thier a lot of ways to do your car , some hoppers ( the hopping cars ) don’t have chains and some do , I heard someone said it’s how you build it they said
      “if you know your shit you don’t need chains “ I seen a hopper with no chains 👀 I’m new to this ima try everything out my car isn’t reinforceed so it’s better to add them 😅 , yes @lowridersgtv is correct ✅ 100% parts fly out when hopping an over locking too Perfectly well said !

    Your using the chains for the wrong purpose brother. Your ball joint failed as it was old and when you juice a car, you should be doing all fresh ball joints and bushings, so it failed due to age and the new stress put on it. Your running 24v to the nose. There is literally no purpose in running a chain. Just get to know your switch and when you feel it fully locked, tap it down a quick tap and ride it. Not trying to be a buzz kill but for what your doing, that chain will have no effect other then transfering the load from the cylinder to the lower a-arm and where ever you mount the chain to on an non-reinforced frame. All bad ideas man. I am by no means trying to be that guy..but I can see your trying hard and working to build a solid car..just dont want you waisting money and or damaging other things.

      @trickdizzlefoshizzle1087 yes correct ✅ , I actually installed the ball joint wrong and hit the switch an came off 😅 I mest up the threads , I’m about to add sky high coils and 4inch ball joint or 4 inch G body extended spindle I’m going for the HIGH lock 🆙, yes the chains won’t have no affect ima reinforce the pockets since I can’t get no help rn to do the whole chassis but later once I get the stance I’m looking for I will reinforce the whole chassis what I’m going to add , sky high coils. , competition cylinders front , telescopic back power balls, drop mounts , Trailing arms , ima start with my differential first taking it off an start reinforcing then get my chain bridge C Chanel yes been studying before adding 😂 hopefully, ….I didn’t explain correctly . Love your advice 🙏💯 it does help ,don’t worry man it’s not a buzz kill it’s COMMON SENSE I’m new to all this so this HELPS ALOT MORE!!! I do try to get help but nowhere to be found 😅 I can’t wait for no one , that only holds you back . I learned a lot from you !! Thank you !! ☝️💯✊ ima showing what parts are for what new people don’t really know

      @7synergy917 sounds good man. I would highly recommend NOT running a 4 inch extension on a street car. You will experience binding on most ball joint extensions over 2" on the Gbodies. Make sure you do your research with those. Since you have not chromed and done a bunch of work up front yet, look into Caprice spindles. They are taller than gbody and will bolt right in, giving you higher front lock up without an extension. If I remember correctly, you will need the Caprice spindle and brakes along with brake dust shields. You don't want to be doing 55mph and have that high lock up ball joint fail. Make sure you also make plans for a slip yoke. Anything over a 10-12" rear cylinder on full lock depending on your coils in the rear will shove the drive shaft into the tranny and destroy it. I love your passion man and like watching your progess.
