Man , much of what he´s describing about the way they lived in the 70/80s in Cleveland has parallels in the lifestyle I had in England , specially London where the squat concerts/scene in general ( if you could call it that ) ... we lived offgrid , to some extent, without , necessarily , even noticing it ... sorry for teh random comment ... great interview as usual . David Thomas is one of the great minds in music of this age . How he never got the recognition of a David Bowie ( I ´m pretty sure latter looked up to David Thomas somewhat ) is very revealing of the mechanics of the music business .
@@VidMagTV You´re welcome . One of the many "wishes " ... you know , travel the US from Coast to Coast , North , South ... take a year, two off for accomplishing just that ... and yes , both cities you mentioned in the UK match David´s description of " old " Cleveland quite accurately ( you must have been there or even lived there anyways , judging by the rather assertive tone ) . Peace !

Yeah, Cleveland is a very blue-collar town that has a lot of parallels to Manchester or Liverpool. Thank you.
