Actually he's wearing a bed cap and old chior robes as a house coat. The bed cap is understandable since African American women actually spend a lot on their hair, and using a bed cap helps keep their hairdo and weaves lasting longer. As for the chior robes, either they were from Lucas' old high school; or they came from the church. The later wouldn't surprise me, since one of the elderly women I went to church took one of the old chior robes home when the pastor bought new ones and used it just like a house coat.
