    Try the long tubes first & dyno then try the vhr and dyno if you got the cash to do both. Would be cool to see the difference.

    Nice setup! Very similar to mine except I still have stock upper and lower and still on 2.5" longtubes, but gonna change to 3" soon. I made 314whp and 277lbft on 91 (my car is a freak for some reason, makes much more torque than other HR/VHR's here) also have GTR injectors but haven't tuned for corn yet.

      @@projectzs1993 I plan to boost it in a few years so just gonna do the 3" intakes and E85 tune. I'd be happy with 320 🤘🏻

    you add a single turbo to these cars and they will beat almost anything on the road and still be reliable, very strong motors just keep the oil in them.

    Awesome numbers. I'm hoping for at least 310 for my 08 g35 with a good set of headers debating ppe lth or tomei with berk rtp, already have z1 cai, z1 clutch and l/w flywheel, and invidia q300 cbe, just sitting in my garage waiting to decide on what headers/test pipes to get since all good headers are de flanged except for the lth, that and I wanted to put everything on at once and tuned instead of doing it in steps, feel the biggest difference lol. Stock dyno at 261 and 232 torque. 50whp might be asking to much but g37/370 guys are seeing 50-60whp gains with same mods so I think its doable with a good tune.

      You should be able to hit 310 no problem especially with your drivetrain mods, reducing rotational mass. I have PPE but not worth the price when you can get the same results with ISR longtubes. I made 314 with stock headers and ISR test pipes along with all the other breather mods. I added PPE longtubes and gained 6whp peak only, but gained more throughout the power band, especially low end torque. Sitting at 320whp/267TQ.

    If you're going with full intake mods, VHR intakes, throttle bodies etc would it be worth it to go all the way and do ported head? It seems no one does this on HRs. is the head already good or just too many man hours labor cost? I guess may as well do cams at that point to lol

      I think its just the cost in labor for minimal gains, if i did it i would also throw in cams.

      @@projectzs1993 ported head in most applications actually produces a decent hp increase.

      @@nighthawk0077 it would especially with a full bolt on car. Alot of people lately are just doing VHR block(370z) with HR heads and making good power.

      @@nighthawk0077 if you have instagram you can see AdminTuning or RZGmotorsports. They have tuned multiple VHR block HR head swaps and make consistent power NA betweeb 340-360+ depending on bolt ons.

    What brand is your intakes? Heard some aftermarket intakes make you lose power than the stock ones!

      Berner Porres im using RZG motorsports 3in intakes. And maybe you lose power with no tune on the car.

      ProjectZs i don’t know people on Reddit have shown their dyno numbers and stuff! some groups say stock intakes are better than most aftermarket ones, I just got a hr 350z like 2 weeks ago I think it’s the same color as yours! lmao but thanks for the reply man! Have a great day dude 👍

      Berner Porres i have read all that also, and to back that up, i have raced other Z’s with similar mods and stock intakes, and they do well until we get to a higher MPH, thats usually where the aftermarket intakes help top end. However, going full bolt on and keeping the stock intake system with some k&n filters would give you a sleeper look and avoid cop trouble depending on your city. Im im cali, they pop hoods over here haha.

      So ive raced several 2014+ 5.0’s and the stock manual one’s i pretty much beat by several cars, slightly modded i hang in there with or beat them; however, i have a buddy with a 2014 intake, exhaust, injectors(E85) + tune and he pretty much gaps me lol.

      C1500 Obs thanks for watching bro! And youll definately hurt feelings at 330whp w/ weight reduction. I installed 370z Ported Plenums already w/ PPE Headers lol. I just havent edited the video because i ran into an issue that im working on right now and ill record that part and then ill edit it all and upload it. Im hoping for 330whp as well but what i want mosed is my torque to go up from 268-280+. Will see.

      @@lajoya9002 when it did 314whp i was around 50k. At around 52k i went back with longtubes and got 320whp peak but gained alot more along the power band.

    This car will not beat 5.0s the only you might of beat maybe a 1st gen 5.0 is if he’s spinning or a shitty driver
