I was just playing this as a bomber hunter yesterday, aaaand a B-29 survived one of its bombs exploding inside it
Whatchu talking bout, that bomb was soaked in grease to the point of the americans just quite literally eating the greased up shrapnel

I’ve been hearing this a lot for some reason, lots of B-29s and TU-4s surviving a bomb going off in the bay. They must’ve changed a value in the patch somewhere

Since you mentioned the R2Y2's. I will say that ever since they were mkved up in BR, they have heavily fallen from where they were, mostly because the 8.0 bracket see's uptiers like crazy because of the number of players at 8.7 and the number of premium aircraft spammers
Also the Jap 30s got nerfed from 900m/s to 770m/s
This is plane is a bomb! No bad matches on this thing, even if you lose.
Four P-80 were send to Europe , two to England and 2 to Italy . Two crashed in England and they other two saw no combat just some reconnaissance . They were send back and one of them crashed also in the US , I think this whole P-80 programm killed more pilots then the enemy did . Went into service in 1948 as F-80C , but this was not a good jet as we saw in the Korean war . F-86 Sabre was way better and advanced , with swept wings like the Me262 .
This ain't as dirty as using the me162 with 30mm cannons to kill B29 bombers. 😂

C1 a is the most practical out of all of them. Sees b29s often, climbs just as fast as the 163 and has double the guns.

Only thing annoying about this plane of that it tends to go too fast that in ground RB, your bombs overshoot your target so you have to preemptively drop your bombs 10 meters in front of your target
I can live with that. Due to the fact once you learn that 90% of the planes you fight at that BR in ground are just planes you can casually outrun.

I experienced some toxicity from other players because i use bombers a lot.

The p 80 shooting star was redesigned to f 80 as the p stood for pursuit and f stood for fighter in 1948
Tankenstien I just tried your trick with this AC they let me do a load out but i hit save without any bombs and it worked!!!!!
you should take the f2h for another spin now, you can take off the wing tip fuel tanks with custom loadout

I did not know that plane had guns. Having a bunch of the soviet jet bombers and the b29 in the same br range as this in germany seems ridiculous
This is the C version, the B version does not have guns
you should’ve used the bomb as ammo like the human ballistic conputer

For takeoff, yes. The b2 also really needs them if hes carrieg bombs
If I remember rightly; the B29 had pretty severe issues w/ the engines overheating, which couldn't be resolved in-flight because the cooling flaps for the engines themselves would create so much drag the B29 would literally fall out of the sky. When Russia got their hands on a B29 that was forced to land on one of their air-bases after an engine failure, they reverse-engineered it and made their own copy (Tu 4, or 8, idr). Which they installed better engines on -- I can't remember the exact reason, but it was either replaced because they discovered the over-heating issues w/ the original, OR they didn't have the materials necessary to replicate American design. I don't think it ever saw any use though, it was pretty much out-dated and out-classed by jet-engined bombers by the time they built it.

@@princesspupcake1269 so perfect, in fact, the Tu-4's control stick said "Boeing" on it and was manufactured with bullet holes in the plane they reverse engineered it from.
The is fun but when a fighter loads bombs, he is betraying his team.

Is the elevators broken like the British 8.3 version? I killed 3 b29s in a single match with the missles on the British 8.3... it felt dirty honestly
Only problem is that plane is 9.0 and the ar 234 is 7.3. Anything 8.3 and above will get beat out by 9.3 jets unless you somehow get a downtier.
Or climb to space and be extremely annoying, and make the enemy team lose to ticket bleed!!
