    Gotta pack those bearings properly next time or they won't last nearly as long, other than that great resto.

    Great vid! I can tell you’re not fake, because I don’t see caked on crap & normal wear for an older item. Thank you for that. I enjoyed it & how hard you worked on it. 🤘🏼

    Ive still got mine in good shape and use it...does anyone know where to get the roller guide blocks that hold the guide bearings in place? I broke one of mine and have not gotten around to machining another one up. Would require a bit of work out of 6061 aluminum or CNC mill program

      You can go get another one made at a mechanical shop, a cnc machine can do it

    Why not just use the electric drill for all the screws
    uts\bolts?

    • @hbrestoration
      @hbrestoration  6 месяцев назад

      Electric screws are too strong, but small screws or rust when opened can damage it

    Invest in brazing rods. Much better for cracks than JB weld bs.

    Where’s the large guard for the blade and spinning wheels. The reason why the casing was broken and cracked is that the blade and what it was cutting has got caught and spun off at great speed and smashed the casing , your attempt to repair the damage is not fit for purpose please do not use the saw, in the uk if it was used the person not be covered by insurance and would be severely injured.

      The cause of the break I think was because it was thrown. it doesn't have a shield like you said originally. I just try to make it as original
