Your collection is really coming on and you’ve made a lot of progress. I also like to hold a coin and think where it has been. I am a big fan of crown coins too and am trying to work my way backwards with a good example for each monarch.
The coin in my collection I love the most is an 1822 1 grosz piece. It's worn, corroded and barely legible in some spots - the reason I put is so high is because it was found by me at a playground when I was in primary school. How often do you encounter a coin like that in the wild?!
Not sure which is my favourite? If I'm restricted to British, I would have to say my Gold James I, Quarter Sovereign, then maybe my Anglo Saxon Sceat from 640? AD, I'm also keen on my 1920s Wreath Crowns, then I have a couple of Sovereigns of the young Victoria and Edward VII, I also have the Cartwheel 2d, 1d and 1/2d. I also have a Proof Cameo 1997 Britannia in a slab.
