The announcement of the female silver surfer was the last "straw" for me. I refuse to watch anything backed by Disney. They've ruined multiple IPs, have shown ZERO understanding of their mistakes, and continue to double-down on this woke nonsense. I'm done.
At least they should have had two heralds. The woman could have been Nova (Frankie Raye) and a male actor could have been the Silver Surfer. Let the audience decide which is the more popular one.

Unfortunately Netflix gave Zac Snyder nearly $200M instead of getting someone who could do a good space opera. They also dropped the ball on Jupiter's Legacy. They had their opportunity and blew it.

That's right, success in entertainment depends on appealing to as broad a section of your potential audience as possible. With their shift to DEI, they're only appealing to a minority of that audience. They need to go back to tailoring their content for the masses instead of virtue signaling for a small subset who probably won't go see the damn thing anyway. And Disney is by no means the only entertainment company guilty of this

The company I work for just laid off tons of people (to “cut costs”) but opened up a DEI Department. Such shame.
The fate of Willow is the same inevitable fate that awaits all the woke garbage we have been subjected too this last decade.

I feel bad for Warwick and Willow cast they were excited to get screen time again. Saw the first episode, the most godawful writing ive ever seen. They reintroduced the main character before even any type of plot and I couldnt watch more. I feel like we ALL got robbed there

It's a shame too. I saw the original Willow in theaters back in the day, and was truly anticipating a relaunch of that universe. It was really, really good. Then it got Disney'd, and of course, turned into a gigantic pile of trash tier political insanity.
Oh well. Disney has a long way to go before I'll even bother to watch any of their products. Think the original Deadpool was the last movie/show of theirs I even watched...

Disney could have been king. Buying Marvel, Lucas Films, … put them as the owner of a huge share of the market. If they could have delivered even half the content with the original quality, they would be hailed as the king of media. Buying these wasn’t the problem. Delivering good content was the problem.
