5 in 1 Mechanical Coding Robot // How to Build Step by Step

- In this video I showcase the 5 in 1 MECHANICAL CODING ROBOT by CIC (Construct and Create). You'll see the entire building process from start to finish with (hopefully) some useful advice along the way. You'll learn how to create the robot's gearbox, how to insert and remove the coding wheel, learn what each of the coding blocks does as well as how to build the add-on modules to make each of the 5 robots.
This robot kit doesn't require a computer or app to program commands. Just by adding blocks onto the coding wheel you give the robot a set of instructions that it will follow purely mechanically - COOL! The robot also cleverly combines modular pieces to become one of 5 robots with different skills. You can make a drawing robot, a soccer robot, a throwing (catapult) robot, a forklift robot and even a gripper robot.

Cool! I haven’t done a robot kit in years. At least this one didn’t require soldering. BTW, when I have a lot of tiny pieces, I use an egg carton to keep everything sorted. 👍🏻

I did everything for the throw in bot but for some reason it just moves the head barely but can’t throw the ball. Any help?
Nail clippers are also a great way to cut parts off sprues and avoid burs

My robot isn’t moving at all. I think I missed up the gear assembly part. The two gears towards the front of the robot don’t move for me.

You mean the motor doesn't work at all? Have you connected the motor directly to the battery box?
@@RobotElixir yes the motor is working but it isnt offing which meaning the little board place with the wires is probably faulty

Hey m8 thanks for the amazing video. Just got this for Christmas. But the yellow coding wheel won't turn. What makes it turn? And if you have any fix it is appreciated. + Sub for the help. It's the last thing I need then it'll work

Finished the main body and it was fine now only moving in reverse sans coding wheel. any ideas.
There’s a grey lever at the base of where the wheel should sit. Moving this controls forward and backward motion. Try lifting it up?

Having an issue with the gear box extension. When I close it up the E1 gear pops off and it starts grinding. So I’m stuck disassembling the entire thing constantly. Any idea or fix?

Not helped me. It is fake. Building is done other way, and during test, the machine built is other. My machine didnt worked at all.

It's possible your gears aren't seated correctly if the green piece isn't fitting properly. Otherwise I'm not sure how I can help. Good luck. :)
