My brother in law bought 100 acres at googa creek recently and has given me some land to use, i spent 7 days on a d3 clearing lantana over christmas and am planting a rare fruit orchard as ive run out of room at my 1/2 acre in Brissy.
Great video guys, thank you for sharing. I was wondering about the hoist you are using to raise the trusses. What is it called and where can I rent or buy one? Im still in the planning stages of a shed build here in SE QLD / northern NSW, and was of the thinking that I would be up for the cost of renting an all terrain forklift for the duration of the build. Thanks again. Regards Emily
@@emilylane170 hi! Thanks for watching. This is called a genie lift - it's what they call a duct lifter. Any of your bigger hire places would hire these out. I wouldn't recommend using it for anything bigger that what we did - about 4m to the ridge line. An all terrain forklift or scissor lift is the best machine for the job but we are a bit away from town.
Just found this video. Well done. Great when you have extra hands to help progress. Will check your other ones as well. Clearly not your first dance with shed work😊. Looks like a very impressive tool/work trailer.
Great video really look forward to the next stage of the shed build looking great well done❤
Thanks for watching! The next one will be a beauty 😉
Great video, they are getting better every release. Like the concept and look forward to following you both on your off grid adventure in the future.

Nice work Doug's! We would love to have a D3 and do the same. Be keen to know what fruit you are planting ?
Thanks for watching mate

@@JaredBlackmore-og8wl thanks mate
Great job guys. U on the camera gill
That building looks more simpler than a typical red iron building
@@Dusty_Cothran it's all pretty simple when you get the right kit. Very happy with our shed

@duncanm6589 thanks mate. Extra hands has really helped push things along. Thanks for watching
Would you mind sharing where you sourced the shed structure?
We picked up this kit from a local shed supplier very good purchase
I reckon you guys have built a shed or 2 in your time.... :) great video. (1 small pick, the music is way too loud.)
@@paulgriffin5572 thanks for watching and we appreciate the feedback. It's harder doing the edits than building a shed.
