Hey Sam, I don't know if you know this, but in Lab mode, you can punch Toad serval times and it also makes him leave. ( I think ) He has more voice lines if you punch him more.
The best thing about toad is that if you decide to punch him then he'll end your run. I love that feature 🤣

man it's been so long that Sam forgot that, in Lab Mode, all the toad characters can be customized and active without toad summoning them

You can also keep punching toad in lab mode to actually get rid of him and prevent him from killing you
