Oh nice, what are your best #'s so far? We're dying to get back. I'm putting in a request for May 2020 to move back. I'm just sick of California. Beyond the Hollywood stuff, this place sucks LOL. 91 octane is no fun either
@@InitialDIYmods my Gen is running ET of 11.57 @ 118.7 mph in the 1/4 . Could run faster but don't want to run drag radials on a 17" rim tire combo . There is built GDI v6 turbo Gen run low 11.10's . Thinking of going to a Alpha speed E85 tune later .Would allow me to run a bigger NOS and corresponding fuel jets . Take care .
That's awesome. Yeah the e85 would help a lot for your car. I have the tactrix cable now, since I'm planning to get a new tune once of these days but now that I'm heading home, a 91 tune doesn't seem as important so maybe just more boost lol. I haven't run the 1/4 in forever but you trapped more than me when I was at 455 whp. Best I got was 117 mph but et was still 13.0 Haha. I can't wait to face off against you're car though, it's been a long time coming
Building a custom slave cylinder? Who does this? You can just order an adequate one online for whatever purpose you need one for. Also, of it brakes, you can complain to the company to have them send you a new one. Not this guy. Nooooo, he custom builds one for himself. And, that's exactly why I subscribed.
Plus if you build a custom slave cylinder housing to match like we did, then it's works perfectly. I'm sure the R53 is similar enough to the R56 that some hydraulic parts may be interchangeable.
Have you tried buying the fwd slave cylinder yet? That should make a decent difference in pedal feel compared to the awd one. I noticed the parts suppliers can't tell the difference and mix them up all the time too so you have to physically verify which you have installed. Previous owner could've mixed it up too
Dude this is so awesome! Really cool to see you put that combination of tools and skills together to make this work.
Thanks mate! The funny thing about one off builds is you end up coming up with some fun problems to solve haha
Solid work!
Thanks mate!
Shorttrack here, when are heading back to TX . Got my Gen doing crazy #'s at the track and killing shit on the streets .Nice vid .

This is awesome. Piston definitely needs to be changed in the r53.

Mass produce these for the rest of us who suffer from Clutch Leg Syndrome
