    You would think people who lived in Alaska would have better gun discipline, not making sure the gun was functional was a major downfall of this incident.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if the woman didn’t have the gun loaded or put the wrong caliber in it . I’ve shot all types of firearms my whole life and I’ve never had a rifle “jam” on me . But it’s inexcusable to not have a firearm on you in the Alaskan bush . I have one with me when I go to Walmart. Careless stupidity killed that man .

      The use of tools and traps is older than guns, and requires some intelligence
      Its just less necessary to use them now, and the prolonged suffering is also unnecessary

    Anyone else think the woman in the first story might be lying? A gun jamming is about a one in a thousand chance, combine that with the odds that under extreme stress she would hit the bear square in the forehead giving her time to run away...Or could it probably be more likely that she was terrified and just ran away? The first story sounds a lot better when dealing with the husbands family for the rest of her life...hmmmm

    • @metarugia3981
      @metarugia3981 26 дней назад

      It's her words, so we'll never know the true story.
      My guess is that after seeing the bear killing and devouring her husband, she ran way.

    • @metalmamasue3680
      @metalmamasue3680 22 дня назад

      I heard the story on another channel. Her husband was the one familiar with guns, not her. When the bear attacked she was naturally panicky and got a round jammed in the chamber, improperly and that's why the gun wouldn't fire.
      She ran away because there was nothing else she could do, the bear wouldn't give up and I think after trying, she saw it was already too late to save him. In the story I heard, the bear came after her and was even at the cabin door threatening her after she went inside.
      The authorities had to shoot it when they got there because it was also guarding his body. It was a clearly predatory attack.
      I don't think there was anything suspicious about it.
      And I truly hope she has since learned how to handle weapons.
      Everyone in bear country should know how. RIP to the victims. ❤

    Regarding the wolf incident. They said the his revolver was useless as he had put it back in its holster. Yet, he had time to run away and draw his knife. Why couldnt he just as easily draw his revolver??? I dont get it. Can anyone enlighten me?? Just finished watching and they said the gun was unloaded and broken yet earlier they said he loaded the gun and put it in his holster. Doesnt make sense.

    It's about time we start believing in karma, folks. The guy who died in this video obviously had been hunting innocent animals for fun his whole life, not out of necessity to survive. Even on this final honeymoon trip, he had planned to hunt innocent animals. But he didn't know that karma had other plans for him. His wife, on the other hand, was not a hunter. She had never used a gun to hunt animals before as mentioned in the video. However, she had been an active participant in her husband's activities and thus had accrued some karma of her own. So, the karma didn't eliminate her. It only gave her a psychological hit in the form of trauma and guilt.

      Just because a creature is an excellent hunter doesn’t mean there is always available pray/ food sources around to hunt, there is always competition with other predators in the area that can make sources scarce. Also most bears don’t seek to hunt humans and tend to avoid them, mostly attacking when protecting their territory or cubs
