  • A2212 10T 1400kv Motor Rewind & KV Test
    This motor got burnt (one winding) due to high current draw using the 8x6 Prop with 4S Lipo.
    So I decided to rewind it and I was hoping to get close enough KV constant to the original 1400Kv.
    Thanks

    I have same motor and i want to rewind it i have 36 awg wire guage how much turn i have to take to make moter with same valtage and rpm

    Hi. How to choose the most torque in Brushless motor? I want to use brushless motor for electric drill, is it low kv and high Turn mean higher torque? Thank you.

    • @asangag
      @asangag  2 года назад

      Yes low kv means high torque but motor diameter or the rotor size , number of tooths and number of magnets also affect the torque. For a drill if you are not using gears then use a low kv with biggest diameter for maximum torque

      @@asangag the drill has 2 gear. gear in the brushless motor is small gear, do u have any advice?

      @@coron1985 I haven't used brushless motor on drill before , if u are using 1:1 gear ratio then use a 500 to 700 kv motor with 35 - 50mm diameter which will have enough torque to drive the drill

      when I look it on Google calculator gear ratio, The gear ratio make the torque with consequences rpm.

    Hi,
    What do you think is the best prop combo for this motor for 3s lipo and 4s lipo for max thrust at relatively low current draw?
    I saw your 3 older videos and I deducted 8 inch props would be the answer for 3s.
    Would it survive 4s on 8 inch prop?

    • @asangag
      @asangag  3 года назад +1

      yes 8x4 apc is the bet combination for both 3s and 4s. with 4s it will draw just above the maximum current limit at full throttle but its ok for momentarily. DONT use 8x6 or 8x8 APC with 4S as it will draw too much current and likely to burn the winding...which is what happened to mine! ;)

      @@asangag I have a 40a esc coupled to these motors on my quadcopter, I use 3s with 8045 props runs quite good. I am getting a 4s battery for good price can I just slap it on and make sure to not hit full throttle and run it? or does it get really hot on 4s around 50-80% throttle?

    • @asangag
      @asangag  3 года назад

      @@itsgodzagain I use 4s on my fvp plane which use 100% throttle only during take off and cruise around 40% throttle rest of the time. If u run it 80% throttle majority of the time it motors will get hot but probably not really hot to touch. You may have to experiment and see how hot they will get. If u are using 80-100% throttle occasionally then its should not be a problem as the motors have time to cool down
