What do you wish your dog would STOP doing?? PS: Here's my favorite training treats: bit.ly/RachelTreats
Picking up garbage on walks!!!
I would love to see my dog stop fighting her sister because outside they get along well but inside not so much
Putting her mouth on hands as play. Our Corgi is 15 months, doesn't "bite" but yet puts her mouth/teeth on our hands when she is excited. Also licks our hands a lot. I don't mind as much so I'm not consistent. But reminded when we have company or when my husband gets upset. Do you have a specific video on this or can you elaborate??? Thanks for all your videos Rachel. Our 10 minutes a day for many good habits have been a huge hit! Including filing down her nails that she use to hate.
Can you please make a video on best natural mosquito repellents? Thank you!
Thanks Rachel for your video love it but have trouble with hyper dog like jack russel.😭
I would love to see a video of you training a dog that has had NO training, to see what we can expect with our dogs who haven't yet been trained! Thanks!
She can’t 😂 It’s all feel good unrealistic BS. Love to see her handle a hardcore XL Bully or high end Malinois
Notice she never does
Yes this is perfect. I love the training sessions that are real. Watching a dog learning at the moment. Also it is great to have a breakdown of what to practice
Yes! I love these 10 min training videos. These are so practical. We just brought our 9 week old goldendoodle home yesterday and I can’t stop watching your videos for help and support.
How’s the training been going?
Rachel your videos are fantastic. We just lost our beautiful 8 year old lab Lola to a sudden illness and she was a very smart girl who was easy to train when she was a puppy. We’ve now got an 8wk old lab puppy named Charlie and I found you when searching for videos on crate training (which is probably one of the only things I’ve never done with a dog before). I’ve since found myself making my way through your videos because of the logical reasoning you use when explaining why you or a dog does something and all the value and tips and tricks you share in the in practice explanations. So thanks for the great content and yes it’s what we want to see.
Please do more of these!
Yes please show live training sessions.
Thank you so much for this, I have a tiny house so having all these activities being in a small space is perfect for me. Easy to do during meal time, in a small space, and impactful.
definitely more videos in real life training because sometimes theoretically, I understand how to train but it doesnt work in practice.
You are awesome! I love everything that you post. I have never really had to train any of my dogs because they came to me knowing how to behave but now I have a little dog that had been so traumatized, neglected and abused for 4 years prior to his surrender, that it is a challenge. The videos on feeding are invaluable and my Beanie is chewing on his first raw bone! He is now on a raw food diet. He is getting much better. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all that I’ve learned from you since I found your channel. You are fantastic! I have shared your channel with many people. Thank you, thank you! 🤗 ❤
Yes! Real life training. 😊
This is perfect! Please make more of these, i Have a puppy about 8 month old and sometimes it 's really hard to figure out how to keep his attention or to make training a fun thing or gain his trust in me
Definitely like seeing the daily workings. Especially from the beginning (new pup or foster) and seeing the progress.
Thanks for all the help
You're welcome! Thanks for being here.
Super-valuable, even if as a reminder for seasoned minds. Thank you! (My favorite dog channel, hands down!).
Just found your channel. Outstanding information ❤ and its free❤ People should remember that.
YES! 😂 These real life videos are so helpful for me so i can have realistic expectations of my new guy and to see how I should be responding when he doesn't get it right away or makes a mistake. I just adopted a 6 month rotti mix from not quite as severe background but similar concept as Marlowe and i am totally out of my element as I've only ever had older dogs that were already well established. I started with the puppy videos since we had to start with potty training, etc; but knowing how to work with a teen dog who's big, skittish, and full of energy but still needs to learn all the basics often looks different from a 6 week cuddle bug,so this is a huge help for me. I didnt know what to work on first so now i have a game plan. I'd love to see a phase 2 video sometime soon with what to work on once these are fluent. Thanks so much!
I love these videos with step by step training sessions. They've helped me a lot with my dog. Keep them coming. I'd love to see leash training videos to teach the heal command and the release command. Thank you😊
Yesss! I love these. Thank you for taking the time.
This is great! I really like it when I can see what you do with your own dog.
this so great! I love the live training. thank you! more of these would be great
THESE ARE THE BEST VIDEOS
#replay
You do a great job at explaining and showing us!! Thank you11
Great video and love content like this. Very interested in the last part and the digging chasing you. Would love more on training a recall for my dog
Very helpful. Please do more of these videos
Just got out 8 week old pup last week ! First time dog owners here and these videos are invaluable. I’ve saved them and keep revisiting them . This one and the crate training ones have been the most helpful so far. Thank you so much Rachel 😊
I watch all your video ! Very helpful!
Marlowe looks soooo much like the black labradoodle my family had growing up, so it's fun following along with her journey! I'm picking up my own labradoodle in seven weeks (first-time dog mom!), and these practical training videos are the best!
Love this!
Love it❤️
I love this!
I love all you do. It’s very informative!!
Great!
Yes would love more videos like this
I personally enjoy these types of videos. Can we maybe have some videos on how to handle adolescence? My puppy’s energy (& attitude) has shifted into this tough phase, & any tips/tricks on managing adolescence would be tremendously helpful!! 🐶
This is very helpful
Most definitely helpful
U r great. Appreciate your advise 😊
Yes please keep making these types of videos! Thank you for your content! 🐶🐾
❤ ur vids😊
These are very helpful keep doing them please.
Thank you Rachel. great advice and training sessions, You are great with the training,
More these please! I'd love a series with progression. I always learn something new from you or get really helpful reminders on how to keep things positive with my dog as I can go too fast [ie now she's scared of shoes. tolerates them but will hide when I pull them out but they can be necessary for safety and health reasons]...so shoes will be my leash
Yes i would love to see more videos like this please
I like this video. You gave a lot of good information. Thank you so much for sharing!
This is super valuable! We’re getting our dog on Friday and I’ve been binge watching your channel!
Very helpful and useful to see and understand your demonstrations
11:00 yes I would love to see more videos like this
Love your videos, Love your personality and mode of training, easy to understand, easy to try on my dog - cockapoo. Thanks very much!!
Ty I'm wanting to keep a puppy (1 ye old abandoned) but we have 6 cats. These help!
This video is great! We have done 12 weeks of puppy b class and starting obedience and also will be doing advanced puppy to prepare for her CGC. I love your videos and the what to do when you only have 10-20 min is good, especially for my husband. ❤
Love this video. Thanks! How do I stop my dog from barking at the tv? Before it was only when she saw an animal but now it’s everything. Thanks 😊
Love the video!! Can you make one about grooming and cleaning your puppy and adult dogs and how often you recommend and products? I’m saving a doodle pup and trying to learn as much as possible your videos help so much!!
I loved that I found you. I warched the resource guardimg.
I love the videos that I have watched so far.
Do you have a video on clicker and e collar training.
Yes more like this! Exactly what I needed bc I am training my 5month old frenchie and she does really good and is really eager to learn, but sometimes I do get stumped on what do I work on today 🤔🤔😊👍
Where did you get the cow hide looking pad? I love it!
Yes I find your videos really helpful. I’ve tried all the enrichment games. My dog is terrified of cats and barks and pulls on leash whenever he sees one so would love some ideas on how to manage this daily situation.
Yes I would like to see more videos like this one. My puppy get depressed and start scratching when I try his collar, he is only 9weeks, I have tried since he was 6 weeks for first time without a success.
This was a great video, Rachel! So helpful thank you. Yes please do more!!
Can you please also add “How To Stop Your Dog From Eating Poop” lol… my pup will look at and then eat her poop when she knows I’m not around or looking 🤦🏻♀️
She poops right after she eats her food too so she couldn’t be hungry.. my friend says most pups do it out of curiosity or boredom.
Would love to tackle this problem 🫠
what are your thoughts on the Jinx brand dog foods? Puppy to arrive next week !!!!!
Great video! And, do you have any idea breed or mix of breeds Marlowe is? She's a real charmer.
Yes, I love this! I need help with down. I have a very young pug (3 months) that always gets up out of his sit and backs up when I put a treat close to him. I tried going to the floor with it too, he just stands up. Ideas here? Thanks!
Something I keep missing is when you use the command. For example, you wait on them to do the desired behavior then marker word/treat(s) but when do you start adding the command? 😊
Help my dog in potty training.
I’ve watched your videos on potty training, every time I find him taking urinal I clap then take him to where he is supposed to do poop but then he doesn’t need to poop and 5 minutes later he poops in the house.
Where do we find the crush bones to put in their food? (from previous videos)
What do you recommend for a 3 month old toy poodle puppy that has a kennel cough?
Do you still recommend the Tuft and Needle white noise machine? They are building new apartment buildings and lots of kids playing and noisy neighbors. My dog has become quite anxious some days.
I would want to see this with a puppy, please ❤.
I have a new pug puppy. Do you have a suggestion for a food to feed him. Want to feed him the best quality from the start.
How do I correct rescue dig that bites me when I pick him up or try to get him to do something he doesn't like?
can you please make a video on having a puppy inside the home while the whole family is in living room at the same time? (Two kids and mom and dad) I never really bring in my puppy to relax with us while we watch tv because she’s always jumping on us and running around everywhere ? How can we get her to know “ relax” “calm” in the house . Is that possible?
I haven't seen you feed eggs. What are your thoughts on feeding eggs? Raw or cooked?
I know this is old but I figured I’d comment since Rachel didn’t see this. Dogs can eat raw eggs, shell and all! The shell has lots of nutrients. I grind the shell up in the food processor along with fresh vegetables and liver and I mix it with ground meat. You could also cook the eggs. According the Dr. Karen Becker (she’s a vet who specializes in nutrition) soft boiled eggs have the most available nutrients. I know Rachel really looks up to Dr Becker so I’m sure this is what she’d say as well.
Ur videos r so helpful....I need a small support to train my semi adult shitzus ...i bought it semi adult and he was not trained properly for anything simply putting him in the cage all the time....he poop and pee wherever and whenever inside the cage....after going also he s not staying away from it.... immediately he starts running jumping, rolling, lying on it....since he was trained to go on time like early morning, after food, play, bath ...he s releasing it at anytime....if i hold him on that particular time too he s not releasing ...if i leave him out of the cage he s going anywhere in the house....pl do a video for me. I'm a new puppy mom
You do a great job in explaining and showing things. We are crate training our GSD. I have had a few over the many years, love them. But, when our Puppy (now about 6 months old) comes out of the crate, he immediately wants to put whatever he can get his mouth on, into his mouth. Any suggestions? Thanks!
You could start working on a good leave it! Also could be managed by sending them to find their favorite toy like a game. You would have to teach to this behavior of course. It’s gonna probably take some time. But you would be encouraging the behavior of when you get out of the crate go put something in your mouth, so just be aware of that but it is way to manage the situation. Another way McClean manage it in my sending it to a place. Immediately when they get out of the crate. If you don’t want to do that I mean a good leave it command is probably your best bet. Or if you’re not into that you could use a positive interrupter to get your dog attention back on you. Or even discourage that behavior by every time they go to grab something use a negative reinforcement marker like “no” and then go put them back in the crate for a little bit. Just continue until they stop that behavior.. good luck!
What I meant to say was another way you could manage it is by sending them to a place. Working on your place command immediately after letting them out of the crate. I don’t know why my talk to text messed that sentence up so bad.
@@corashaw7774 - worthy of trying for sure. Thanks
How do you train a dog to not jump on people? You don't explain how to train a dog that has never had training. I mean you said if they jump on you turn your back til they sit but you don't explain how to get a dog to do that that has never been trained
I like the lessons that you post but sometimes in my opinion you give too much information at one time I would love to see you working more with the dogs
I love these videos! More please also I have a rescue that I just was lucky enough to get, Boomer is a 9 month old Cane Corso that is roughly 100lbs. I've been doing bite inhibition and he's doing great with hands very gentle boy. However he does nip at legs when over stimulation occurred & he has a bad habit of jumping. I've never been a fan of the raise your knee approach to curb this, the last thing I want to do is cause my handsome boy any pain. But I must take action to stop this asap due to his size he knocks ppl off balance etc. Could you help with the jumping in a painless way also I'm unsure how to stop the leg\ankle hitting when excited. Thank you soooo much for all that you do you truly are an amazing human.
P.s. I am feeding Carna4 because of you advice and BOOMER LOVES it which makes it great for training!
