I wonder if it’s humanly possible for him to get upset or frustrated. I mean with anything not just animals. *Sits in 4 hour honking traffic* “Give it time eventually with patience the cars will move” *car move and inch* “Yes! You see that’s the reaction we’re looking for”
Update on Ace - I have gotten him involved in playing some of the games ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU and I can see a difference in his confidence already! My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!
Sometimes it only works then and you have to keep at it for it to stick I was teaching my dog to go to her bed when I said to and it works when I had a treat during that training session but then it slipped from her mind and wouldn’t do it the next day you have to be really repetitive for it to stick and for it to become a habit
LMAO. As a fellow youtuber, people would get bored of watching a video figure out watch me for 2 weeks straight....I try to keep it realistic, but you also prob don't want to watch a 925 min video
Im gonna get puppy this summer but Im not sure how to potty train her. I want him to pee and pup on newspepers. Do you have any advice hot to do that without thaz fence and doors. I want him to be free and go in every oart of ny apartment bu to poop and ped on one place
Firebreather 911 Hi I did not use amy fences or gates we just put his pad down. In his first weeks he peed everywhere and couldn’t pee his pad, he tried to pee there but he couldn’t reach there at time. Than when he peed on the floor or pooped we put his pee and poop on the pad. They learn where to poop easy but they don’t learn how to pee cause they can’t hold it and It’s normal cause pups are babies too. When he peed on the floor we didn’t attract with him so he knew that It was a wrong move. And I suggest putting a towel near his pad because they prefer to pee to ir but chooste one that is the same color as his pad, then remove the towel ONLY ıf he is peeing there. The towel thing worked reallt well for me and you shouldn’t put his pad where he can smell his food, put it as far as possible You wouldn’t want to pee where you can smell food would you lol
Took me 8 minutes cuz she is an inquisitive dobie. Also it will take time to implant the sit command into her brain. She only sits cuz she thinks she will get the treat.
I got my first puppy 14 years back, a Lhasa Apso. And that experience was invaluable. Because I learned the hard way, by learning from each mistep and the dog basically was the teacher if that makes sense. Back then the content was nowhere close to this. We also didn’t consume as much technology wasn’t anywhere close to today. My beloved Charlie passed away last year. This video appeared as suggested content so popped in and it’s superb. I think back to the early days with Charlie and puppy pads, poops and howling like a new father of a fluffy baby, i wld do it all again. I learned by making mistakes. And these vids are helpful for basics. People complaining, the guy is giving tools. Any one with a new puppy should go to a puppy class. Socialise the dog. This video is not a one size fits all and people who are abusing the guy, are ignorant. Also not every dog cares about dog treats or the same type. Use this as an outline and tailor it. Smaller dogs may be more bouncy and playful, a bigger dog may want to dominate. The playful dog gets a treat to behave, the big dominant dog doesn’t get a treat. And so on. Online v Reality - can be stark Good luck
When I got my first puppy (who wasn’t potty trained at all) we put a bell out and showed her how to use it no more than 5 times and now she consistently knows to ring it if she has to go out! She was 7 weeks at the time and hasn’t had an accident (even on our many rugs) in 10 weeks! She is now 18 weeks and doing amazing!!🐶🤗
I’ve had my pup, Percy, for almost 3 months now. He’s a chocolate lab and he’s 4 months old almost 5. Without your videos I have no idea what I’d do. My dog has a favorite ball and when he lost it he was so sad but then he found it behind the couch so when we got it he was so happy and starting running all over the place it made me happy😇
Someone once told me that if you make coming to you when you call it the best thing a dog can ever do they will drop everything and come when called. Its totally true. Never let them know that coming to you is the end of the fun or that you are going to give them heck. Let them always believe that coming to you is the start of fun, not the end of it and is better than anything else they could be doing. So even if you are mad at it, just call it as usual and dont take it straight inside or into the cage, play with it for a few minutes so it doesnt connect coming to you with the fun ending. That is the best advice I ever got for dogs. Why would a dog come eagerly to an angry owner who they know is gonna yell and lock it up?
@MyFlightYT good advise. Dogs can be taught to respond to sound or visual ques. My Ruby knows both for many of her tricks. How ever I do have a new trick I have yet to name. You can check out christmas video if you would like help naming it.
This is just superb, I have been researching "useful things to teach your dog" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Diyadison Genia Equalizer - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my brother in law got great success with it.
i was so tired of our lilly biting us all the time and then i used a few tips i learned from the MyDogTraining7.blogspot.com -- videos. it was like night and day; worked so well
Friends have you tried HowToTrainYourDog5.blogspot.com I think this website has the best dog training program I ever found on the internet Recommended to all…
its so interesting how fast can dog learn. or better to say is that they MEMORIZE it. so thats why whenever goldie looked up and make eye contact he said goldie. then the dog will remember that and whenever he says goldie she will look up. same goes with the other tasks.
We just adopted a one year old Rottweiler mixed pup from our local shelter, she seems SUPER well trained and follows basic commands nearly as well as our own kids do! This video was super informative!
I brought home a 2 year old golden shepard mix that was returned for having too much energy and within 24 hours had him sitting, on a 45 mineuet leash walk and behaving properly indoors. Thank you Zak.
I've got two 18 month old "twins" (dogs) and I really regret not putting the time in, in terms of training. They are wild and one of them is particularly challenging. I so regret not being responsible. Good for you though for helping your dog. It's awful to think he could've been passed from pillar to post.
I just got a border collie who we've been procrastinating on training, so I went to this video and she learned all of these in about 40 minutes!!!! Of course I was taking breaks with her but these really work and she learned them fast!
I love your training videos so so much. I recently got my first own puppy since I turned 18 and you’ve helped me a lot! Last time I had a puppy I was 8... my beagle, dashhund mix is a very smart little guy but without your videos and techniques I would be lost! Thank you so much. Your patience is inspiring
It would depend on the age the dog. Like when you first get a puppy it is suggested you take your puppy outside to do its business frequently. Rule of thumb many use is 1 hour per month old. So like if you have a 5 month old pup you generally can wait 5 hours before needing to be taken out. I strongly suggest that the time never gets beyond 9 hours though. Never ever let your dog or pup chew on any human use objects and if they do simply do not give as a toy but keep as a teaching tool.
I just rescued my new 3 year old Shih Tzu mix yesterday and appreciate any help I can get in training her. She has no skills at all because she was found as a stray, but she is worth ant time it takes to get her trained. We’ve already started on “come”. Did OK, but will continue working with her.
I have always loved all your videos, because you showed us the process from the beginning of the training until the end of the training session which makes us see how improved the dog is💖💖
Hi Zak. I just found your channel, and wanted to thank you. I just got a 5 month old rescue puppy, and watched a couple of your videos. She had sit and come down, but I have been struggling to get her attention with distractions present. Angel picked up "look at me" within a couple of tries, and now she automatically goes to the sit position with this command. You've helped me make her into more of an Angel. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks.
Hi, I have recently been watching your videos as in roughly 6 months I will be getting my first doggo! I'm so excited and decided to prepare early as I want to make it perfect for my new companion to arrive! We'll either get a Border Collie, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retriever or Labrador Retriever and I'm so happy! I wish we could get one sooner but my brother and dad aren't overly excited about picking up poop haha, and me and my mum are going on a cruise in August so we cannot trust them alone 😂 thanks for reading this far and have a great day/night!
Lol my Alusky pup potty trained in under 12 hours. I have had a lot of questions on how we trained her. I think most people dont understand that they dont really like messing where they spend their time. And some breeds take longer then others do. Consistency is very important with training any breed. Socialize your dog from the beginning and show them what you expect from them. They want to pleas you. When they do, its important to praise them, let them know they are doing good. Love the video!
Love these videos super helpful! I’ve had many bad training habits in the past such as verbally getting loud to correct bad habits, but with my new puppy I’m so happy to find these helpful training tips so that we have a pup that we’re proud of and respects us 😁
I want to thank you so much for all of your videos. I have owned a 3 1/2 month old black labrador/Newfoundland for just a month now and I have already trained this little guy (Cooper) to sit, stay, wait for food, and come by watching your videos. I have never watch videos that were so self-explanatory and easy to follow! I was able to housebreak Cooper in eight days! I don’t know if it’s the breed and/or my persistence and patience but it was accomplished! Thank you..thank you..thank you Zak for everything! I’ll look forward to watching many more of your videos!
Well got through week 8 - 12!!! Really had some doubts, big unruly ball of fluff... and what to do? Your books and these videos are FABULOUS!! Watching multiple times helps me pick up details I may have missed the first time. You have helped keep me less frustrated, and more consistent than I might have been - THANK YOU!🐶
My family just got a new dog yesterday, and he’s very well mannered and a quick learner, but when we tried to use the leash with him he lays down or just stood there so we had to carry him, lol, but other than that and eating rocks, he’s very good for not having much human interaction before we got him
I taught my brothers puppy to sit and lay down. He got it and is food motivated! He’s still learning. But he does pretty well. He jump but I am patient and get him into a sit, do a click noise and he knows that means treat!
Thanks for all the great tips in the live stream! I love your videos! You’re my favorite dog trainer! I love your kind and simple techniques! God bless and hugs to you and Bree and the fur babies!☺️❤️ PS: this little pup is sooo cute!☺️❤️🐾
Thank you for posting this, within minutes our new puppy is learning how to sit, stay, come, his name etc. it is really great you are sharing this knowledge to help us be better pet keepers...
@@casualpotato9375 oh we have another great Pyrenees and we haven't had too many problems, I feel like it's just the approach because they are extremely smart and independent.
I listened to all your videos 7 years ago to train my dog. It is a Shiba Inu, notorious for being stubborn. I still managed to train him using your advice. I just recently got a new puppy and saw that your were still posting videos, and I still love your approach. Keep going wit the awesome videos. Cheers
I hate the way it looks so easy but you know it’s probably gonna be very difficult I mean this video is perfect because I’m doing research of dogs before I get mine and I hope I don’t forget that’s why imma like it and go onto likes videos :)
One of my dearly departed dogs favorite toys was a cat toy. It was a mouse that squeaked when you touched it. He loved that to his last days. He was also a better yourself hunter than most cats. I just passed his cat toy onto our new puppy. She's loving it.
I've been watching his videos for My New Puppy that I got three weeks ago the puppies has not use the bathroom in the house anymore after following Zak. Luckily the good thing about this quarantine is that I've been able to give the puppy enough attention to make sure that I'm consistent with my directions. But thank you sack for your hope
I have a 10 week old lab Norwegian elkhound mix pup. He came to us and the owners said he knew nothing. I was prepared for potty training and all that fun stuff. To my surprise he is pretty much potty trained he can hold it for hours and let's me know when he needs to go out and he already knew sit. Were working on lay right now. Our biggest problem is his puppy biting(I have 3 children 7 5 and 4 yrs) and keeping his attention. So I'm so happy I came across your youtube.
Thank you so much, these videos are going to be so helpful when my Border collie pup moves in! Also I'd like to say I really appreciate you taking your time to make these amazing videos and to help others. Thank you :))
What a smart pup. You make dog training look so easy!! I will definitely try these tricks on my little Italian Greyhound... hopefully she doesn't sit in place and glare at me like any other time I try to train her 😂
I got ahead with my dog's training after reading Found out how to stop my dog from jumping on people. Learned that you quick turn your back on the dog when they jump and leave the room through the door. When dog finally stops jumping you give him a treat.
Im getting a puppy in 13 days and i am so nervous about training her, imma edit this comment once I've tried to train her Edit: im not getting her for another 5 days but i am so excited!! Her mum is a cockapoo and her dad is a bichon frise cross lhasa aspo and she is pure white and we're calling her daisy, I'll be happy if i can just teach her how to sit
I am very impressed with your training techniques. I have a 3 year old Goldendoodle and in 2 weeks I am getting a miniature Goldendoodle. I will be trying your ideas and I will share with you my experiences.
Love this video and all the others. I have watched so many different trainers and keep coming back to you! Your techniques are by far the most effective! I would love another video about socialising and walking scared puppies. My 13 week old Chihuahua is having lots of trouble running away from people, sounds of people, and other dogs he sees. I want to socialise him but need help because he runs away from everyone/thing Thank you so much for sharing your training! (I bought the book too!👍😄)
Two dogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, self trained. Everytime you walk them, it's communication time. "Slow", pull light tension on leash until at my side. Release and repeat. "Halt" pull light tension vertically, quick light snap as you finish. "Hold" hooooooold, drawn out localizing the command will end soon. "Okay" ohhKAY, happy high pitch at end. Completely off leash by age 3. Able to weave through crowds (who want to pet them or think they're lost) at speed walker pace with no leash. Full stop on my heel, literally 1 foor behind me when i stopped at crosswalks. Female went deaf at 5, still able to do hand commands. Personality, enthusiasm and NEVER ANY NEGATIVE TRAINING. One knee meant COME BACK NOW, and no matter how long it took, I flipped out happy like they had just done long division mathematics. No treats, just accolades. Average life span is 11 to 12 years. One lived 12, the other was 15. I can over command mist of my friends dogs. They say come, i have the dog HALT or come to me instead.

its so interesting how fast can dog learn. or better to say is that they MEMORIZE it. so thats why whenever goldie looked up and make eye contact he said goldie. then the dog will remember that and whenever he says goldie she will look up. same goes with the other tasks.

I can’t fully concentrate on what you’re saying because I’m too focused on how cute that damn dog is 😂 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Hahahaha....MEEEE tooo. All I hear is yep yep yep...sorry...I need training. 😂😂😂
I watched this years ago when I was getting my puppy and sadly DONT have him anymore :( love you Dylan
Replies of my comment doesn't make any sense.
Meee
Not me yet?
Yes, I was simply attracted by the thumbnail image with the incredibly cute dogs, especially the one he's holding, that is, the one on the left. LOL
Bro I wish my parents are just too stubborn
I just got mine yesterday
This guys passion is off the charts
I love this trainer.
Zac is very good no question about it!!!
We just adopted a one year old Rottweiler mixed pup from our local shelter, she seems SUPER well trained and follows basic commands nearly as well as our own kids do! This video was super informative!
You are really good at traning dogs😃❤️
He really is good
Jupiter Gacha! ランダムカラス yeah I’m trying to train my dog too. He already knows how to sit and stay!
Get Help i’d like to see you do it any better
Получить Помогите Dude he’s been doing this for years he’s not a noob
I brought home a 2 year old golden shepard mix that was returned for having too much energy and within 24 hours had him sitting, on a 45 mineuet leash walk and behaving properly indoors. Thank you Zak.
I've got two 18 month old "twins" (dogs) and I really regret not putting the time in, in terms of training. They are wild and one of them is particularly challenging. I so regret not being responsible. Good for you though for helping your dog. It's awful to think he could've been passed from pillar to post.
My labrador retriver puppy learned this in under an hour thanks to you
I just got a border collie who we've been procrastinating on training, so I went to this video and she learned all of these in about 40 minutes!!!! Of course I was taking breaks with her but these really work and she learned them fast!
My pup knew how to sit from the start so I got lucky-
I have a feeling I have a long road ahead when it comes to everything else
Gacha Wolf I giggled too much at this comment
👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎😡
Goldie makes it look easy because she’s so smart.
I love your training videos so so much. I recently got my first own puppy since I turned 18 and you’ve helped me a lot! Last time I had a puppy I was 8... my beagle, dashhund mix is a very smart little guy but without your videos and techniques I would be lost! Thank you so much. Your patience is inspiring
i always appreciate how much these videos are thought out and its is awesome how many people this is helping
Zak please make video about a dogs first night at our home
Yes!
Yes!!

I just got my 7 week old Labrador puppy
Sooooooo happy😊😊😊😊😊
Love Labradors I have one they are my favourite
I got mine last year September
He is 4 months
OMG I am getting one Tomorrow lol
omg how KYUUUUUTTTTT
i can’t get over how cute Goldie is
I have always loved all your videos, because you showed us the process from the beginning of the training until the end of the training session which makes us see how improved the dog is💖💖
The first video I click on and it's a goldendoodle! It was meant for me to watch we will be bringing our goldendoodle home in 2 days!
Love seeing the training in REAL time!!
You just helped me train my mini poodle to sit in 1 doggy treat I broke into 4! Thank you.
You’re the best dog trainer..!
Thanks.
AWW!!💛 wish this video existed when Laika was younger:) but luckily you had other videos that helped me a lot!:)
I had a dog named like that but it died😭😭😭
For me not being able to teach my pup a new trick just shows how impatient I am. Man! This man is so patient! 💪🏽
Great teaching, objective and simple. We can apply the concepts and strategies every day, any time, not just when it's training time. Thank you!
It is sooo important to get the basics down when training a puppy! Excellent training video!
I’ve had many bad training habits in the past such as verbally getting loud to correct bad habits, but with my new puppy I’m so happy to find these helpful training tips so that we have a pup that we’re proud of and respects us 😁
my husband and i just adopted an adult chihuahua and i can’t believe how responsive he is to this training even as an adult! thanks!
I am getting a puppy in February I am so exited your videos help
this video is really helpful..I follow your advices and with atleast 10 mins.. my dog learned to sit, stay and lie down..
It was so cute when she kept sitting because she wanted a treat 😭💘
Dogs are the best< 3
Lisa Gallegos they really are 🥰
I want to thank you so much for all of your videos.
See the reason I like Zack is because he tell you how you can tell the dogs all these stuff and you save 100 dollars a year from not spending thx bro
My mom told me about a 1 y/o doggo up for adaptation today, and I am sooooooo happy 😃. I feel like my heart could burst
Well got through week 8 - 12!!! Really had some doubts, big unruly ball of fluff... and what to do? Your books and these videos are FABULOUS!! Watching multiple times helps me pick up details I may have missed the first time.
You have helped keep me less frustrated, and more consistent than I might have been - THANK YOU!🐶
My family just got a new dog yesterday, and he’s very well mannered and a quick learner, but when we tried to use the leash with him he lays down or just stood there so we had to carry him, lol, but other than that and eating rocks, he’s very good for not having much human interaction before we got him
Other dogs: *plays with toys*
My dog: *plays with my hand*
So true lol my hand has so many scratchmarks lolll
I taught my brothers puppy to sit and lay down. He got it and is food motivated! He’s still learning. But he does pretty well. He jump but I am patient and get him into a sit, do a click noise and he knows that means treat!
Thanks for all the great tips in the live stream! I love your videos! You’re my favorite dog trainer! I love your kind and simple techniques!
God bless and hugs to you and Bree and the fur babies!☺️❤️
PS: this little pup is sooo cute!☺️❤️🐾
Thank you for posting this, within minutes our new puppy is learning how to sit, stay, come, his name etc. it is really great you are sharing this knowledge to help us be better pet keepers...
This is why i want a dog
WouQla just to let u know it’s tough
Let me just say .... Sir You are amazing 🙌🙏❤️ i wish this world had more of you

Love the way she looks into the camera.
We just got our puppy today. Great Pyrenees 8 weeks 😍
NeoGlowEntertainment that’s great! But also my dog is part Pyrenees , and they’re a stubborn breed, hard to train
@@casualpotato9375 oh we have another great Pyrenees and we haven't had too many problems, I feel like it's just the approach because they are extremely smart and independent.
I have a lab pyrenees mix and such a smart beautiful breed. I found training to be super easy
I listened to all your videos 7 years ago to train my dog. It is a Shiba Inu, notorious for being stubborn. I still managed to train him using your advice. I just recently got a new puppy and saw that your were still posting videos, and I still love your approach. Keep going wit the awesome videos. Cheers
I’m getting a puppy soon. So this is helpful
I’m getting my golden doodle in less than 2 weeks and I’m sooooo exited
Congrats
I hate the way it looks so easy but you know it’s probably gonna be very difficult I mean this video is perfect because I’m doing research of dogs before I get mine and I hope I don’t forget that’s why imma like it and go onto likes videos :)

One of my dearly departed dogs favorite toys was a cat toy. It was a mouse that squeaked when you touched it. He loved that to his last days. He was also a better yourself hunter than most cats. I just passed his cat toy onto our new puppy. She's loving it.
Trying to learn, but she is soo cute!! I can't wait to get my goldendoodle next week!
This video was super helpful! Thank you so much! Thanks to your videos I have the most well behaved puppy!
Thanks so much for this video! With your help my puppy learnt to sit after literally 2 minutes!
I’m gonna get one after this corona , I’m learning from you! Thanks man
I have a 10 week old lab Norwegian elkhound mix pup.
Puppies learn so fast I love training them young. It’s so hard with older dogs 🐶
Zak, your videos have really helped my wife and I train our 8 week old Westie. Thank you!
The most pure dog trainer
Thank you so much for this! You're EXTREMELY helpful!
I'm so proud of Goldie! She's doing so great
What a smart pup. You make dog training look so easy!! I will definitely try these tricks on my little Italian Greyhound... hopefully she doesn't sit in place and glare at me like any other time I try to train her 😂
Okay so I searched this today and I will come back when my dog learns all this tricks wish us luck!
Thanks Zak, I'm using these techniques with my new Shepherd puppy. I'm so glad I saw your videos!
omg how cute
I just got a dog and am so excited to learn with and about her and to communicate with her
My dogs know all of these tricks ;D thanks to you ofc. Thanks!
I got ahead with my dog's training after reading Found out how to stop my dog from jumping on people. Learned that you quick turn your back on the dog when they jump and leave the room through the door. When dog finally stops jumping you give him a treat.
Im getting a puppy in 13 days and i am so nervous about training her, imma edit this comment once I've tried to train her
Edit: im not getting her for another 5 days but i am so excited!! Her mum is a cockapoo and her dad is a bichon frise cross lhasa aspo and she is pure white and we're calling her daisy, I'll be happy if i can just teach her how to sit
How's it going?
(I bought the book too!👍😄)
Love how you can see her tail waging so she’s having fun while in training
I think some owners need to be trained first. Definitely before bringing a dog home.
Your tricks always work . thanks now my pup knows all of these tricks . 😊😊😊
