The directions are excellent. But, If the router/modem is two rooms away from the printer which is not directly connected to computer, which is the best method? I am guessing #3. Not clear when #1 and #2 and #3 are the best choices?
The set up of the printer and the HP smart access sucks, Printer constantly goes offline. You spend more time setting up the printer that using it for your printing needs!

I have followed your step, but when it until the process preparing setup it unable to find WiFi network. I already connect to it's model wifi, but still have this problem. How to solve this problem? Please help me,tq~

HP used to sometimes make good printers but all their 'smart' this and that is a scam. They also withdraw support from models far too soon with the clear intention of forcing people to buy new. I informed them yesterday that my Department will review their policies and products and probably phase out further contracts. I work for the Dept of Education in the UK.
