I do the raw primal diet and start with 16oz of celery/carrot juice every morning. I feel totally fine. Aajonus's recommendations are the minimum, you can do more if you like if you are okay with the detox
That's cool, thanks. I like to take things really slow and easy transition. I haven't done juice in about a month and I'm craving it. I may do some next week.
Thanks for sharing this info. I had a juicer in the past and it was so complicated to clean that I gave it away. But I think I'm ready to come back and try again. Is that an Omega you're using in this video? Is it easier on the cleanup?
Really really really hope that tab water your using is well water or you have aajonus’ triple filter with sand. Its important to wash but aajonus uses whey. Dirt is okay but even celery has chemicals which makes me nauseous if i dont wash it
My tap water is utility water and I have a whole house big carbon filter thing - a 5 foot high tank thing, and before that it goes through a carbon filter. It is not perfect but fairly clean.
In aajonus' books he only has recipes for green juices that contain coconut cream. Do you make and add coconut cream to yours as well or can you leave that out and still get the benefits of green juice?
I usually dont add anything else and see great benefits. Ease into it tho bc its really cleansing and can make you feel bad if too often. I havent had coco cream for a long time but i have recently had raw cow cream with this juice (eaten separately same time as juice) and that was good

Listen to your own body. You will feel if you had too much because it will be uncomfortable like too much sugar rush or too much detox or negative feeling after a couple of days on it.
you could need 1 cup, or even more than 4....Aajonus said he needed 4 or more in the beginning but then eventually didn't need to consume much at all, if any. It depends on your body's needs. What the juice does is it provides fresh enzymes, vitamins and minerals that your body is deficient in. Once you build up your body's reserves of nutrients, you will not want as much juice. The goal is to really listen to what your body needs...it will tell you if you know how to listen.
