Heard from someone who had a 1200, and a 1250,?, Said the 1200 had more Mid Range Torque, than the 1250? Read some guy say the 1250 Bandit was more Refined.
@@scottlochans4180 my 1200 was a monster mate 118bhp to back wheel. Stage 3 Dyno kit , full exhaust system new suspension it was a cracker. Only problem was it only did 70 mile to tank riding steady 😃

I did have to do a Very slight modification to the belly pan - but nothing that a Dremmel tool with a cut off blade and 5 mins can't handle. Continued safe riding to you.

Do you happen to have any pictures where you cut your belly pans with a Dremel to fit with the SW-Motech bars for reference before I start cutting for reference please? Thanks in advance!

Yes indeed it gives you almost a 2 inch lower sitting position. Which results in more of a true sport bike riding poison - vs a Sport touring (more upright) position. Superbly comfortable , at least for my bottom. The OEM seat is like sitting on a Hovis loaf.Cheers - and continued safe riding to you.
The sun heats that shiny rear can pretty quickly out here in Los Angeles ! You could fry an egg on it after an hour in the sun ... LOL .... Better safe than sorry !
BMW K1600 GTL, nah the Bandits weight was never an issue. I just wanted lockable hard cases, cruise control, heated seat and grips and all the farkles BMW offers …. Multiple Riding modes, adjustable suspension, preload, loads of additional storage, built in sat nav, Bluetooth, the list goes on …. It also is an amazing ride. I still miss the Bandit but no room in the garage … continued safe riding to you!
Sadly it is time for us to part company - I love the Big Bandit but alas I have fallen for another and I am a 'one bike kinda guy', well... that and my wife says I can only keep one .. LOL!
ABS is not a fix all - but nice to have - I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. As instructors we train to do MAX braking at high speeds and NOT engage the ABS. Thank you for watching - Continued safe riding to you!

Bandit,Wow at least 58, 59 times more biking joy than in 84, my nearly new Kawa.750 turbo, that I Couriered on, Thrashed it Daily Countless times, Lovely Superb for high speed Planted Biking travel, but Bandit Time Acceleration,, Defies Logic, all ALL at the back wheelps. ps. Take Care, nope not possible, it's a Bandit, stay safe, no just stay in CONTROL.

Got the £50 fine,3 months Ban to prove it.Dumfries Sheriff Court March '85 Guesstimated, 138 mph. Good guess, almost spot on. March '19 no bike Kawasaki for 27 years, Bandit Time, very quickly got a PhD Masters Degree in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical, I now have learned ?, Sod top end speeds?, All about the Acceleration.
Had my 1200 ( 2002) for ages. Great bikes loads of bottom end.

Last week, i picked up a 2016 (last year of production), gsx1250fa..... Aside from the headlight and fairings, are they identical bikes?

As a semi retired Crazy Mad Banditateer fekkin Banditaholic, 1250 ?, Lovely, but wouldn't want A.B.S. Breaking. Fuel inj. ? Oh Yes, ABS, no thanks.
