i sent this video to my mom because it reminded me of her.
when i was growing up i never really saw my mom put on a full face of makeup for work, it was only ever during special occasions. she had bare skin, bare eyes, not even a hint of blush anywhere but always sported a red lip. i thought it was such a look when i was a kid- and i still do! bare face and red lips rock.
when i asked about it when im older she said it was because she had sensitive skin and cant stand the feel of makeup for the whole day. instead of bringing makeup to touch up during lunch she has a facial cleanser in her bag because she washes her face on her lunch breaks! i also never saw her with a break out or even a single pimple all my life, she doesnt even moisturize nor use sunscreen after cleansing! its so crazy that i never got any of her good skin genetics HAHAHHA

when I was 15-16 I was obsessed with red lips, I looked so good on me, felt so confident in red lips but my mom used to hate it, she always used to tell me "when you smile with a red lipstick on you look like an ugly ghost" ever since then I stopped wearing red lipsticks, it's been like 5 years, I literally do not have any red lipsticks now but this video is making me wanna buy and rock in red lips again.

@@GLAMZILLA hmmm well i would try more things from essence (yknow the cheap but great makeup brand) especially the powered blush, i use it every day it’s sooo good! hmm also some more skincare products also beauty concept! i use that a lot! maybe the wet and wild foundation stick? that’s really good, covergirl trueblend matte foundation, nyx jumbo eye pencil in mint green, uh, the best!!

It also never hit me that you can put liquid lipstick ON TOP OF regular lipstick to make it last longer - for some reason that is mind blowing and changes everything to me!
