The way you talk about makeup in such a fun/casual way really puts my mind at ease. I don’t usually wear full make up looks often, and was thinking wth would I do for a wedding I’m invited to in a few months... thank you so much this tutorial was an absolute lifesaver! Lol now I’ll have a few months to practice doing this look whilst trying to figure out how to apply those damn falsies!

Her falsies videos are very good, I recommend! If you take anything from her applying false lashes video, doing two layers of glue was an absolute game changer. If you're having trouble with like a full strip lash, I would try something like the Kiss Trio lashes. They're like a mix of individual and strip lashes and they're the only falsies I've ever had any luck with lol.

the best tip i ever got with falsies was to line your eyelid gently with the lash glue (so you’ll need an applicator) and then put a thin line of glue on the actual falsie band. wait for them to get tacky and try to be precise with where you set them down because glue on glue sticks very well. i recommend getting a hand mirror and holding them with tweezers while looking down. and try to set the middle of the lash to the middle of the band, then set the corners. my inner/outer corners always came loose and now they won’t budge.

Gosh I love it. I’m nearly 50. I’ve been living in the UK for 23 years but born and bred (baguettes?) in Paris. This red lip + contour/bronzer/highlighter on the eyes combo is what “we” (Parisian women) have been wearing since… for ever. It’s a classic, universally flattering look. You’re teaching the world how to be a Parisienne. Fabuleux! 👌🏼

no correlation to this video but i was STARING at your skin the whole time and realized it’s what i’ve been doing while watching every single one of your videos for months and that made me think about a video request ! idk if these usually work for you but i know it’s been a while since you’ve done one SO... i would absolutely LOVE an uncut video of you doing your base, from start to finish, the way you have been doing it recently. no cut, no editing, no nothing, just you doing your perfect base from start to finish ☺️
This is such a small thing, but I love that you don’t use a filter and I can see all the texture of your skin (which is so clear and gorgeous btw, jeez). It bothered me a lot (especially when I was younger) that I had texture and creased and got oily, and didn’t look 100% airbrushed-smooth whenever I wore makeup. It makes me love myself so much more to see that everyone looks like that, it’s not just me.

Blush tip: I went to one of those 'colour match' sessions and for finding that blush that will always suit your skintone, the woman recommended you look at the colour if the cartilage on your ear. I was thinking this when you held up your rare beauty creme blush- the colour looks just like the pinker bits on your ear :)

I’ve always been a bold lip + bold eye person. I always felt like I looked incomplete if I didn’t have something to accompany the lip. At the minimum, it was always a bold liquid liner, but never anything less.

Love this look. I usually avoid my red lipsticks because I’m never sure what to do with the rest of my face. Have to try those Revlon crayons- they have been killing it with some of their products lately. Wow this is pretty . Usually I can go pretty bold because my skin is super muted but my hair and eyes have good enough contrast . Bold lips and vibrant cool colors give such life to my skin . I’m labeled as a true winter to dark winter . I love all the colors on you . Also Kiki came out with these salt nyc skin tint balms . I’ve gotten a lot of messages on Reddit and watched her video . From what I’m hearing all her shades have olive in it . The lightest shade is still too dark for me but I think it’ll work on you . Love to see a review on it .

45yrs old and never have the guts to commit to a bold lip look.....like I out it on and feel ...nah I can't go outside with this. You inspired me to give a red lippy a go and literally just did neutral eye mascara and Co ordinated blush like you said and really enjoyed it. I always thought I'm not pretty enough to wear eye catching lipstick but YOLO I guess.

my go to for a bold lip is the same lipstick thoroughly buffed out on my cheeks and eyelids. i add a sheer shadow topper on my eyes for some sparkle, define my brows and eyelashes and then i'm finished. takes like 45 minutes for me (i move at the speed of frozen molasses) but it could definitely take less time if you don't have it to spare.

Thank you, I was lucky enough to get a Lisa Eldridge Velvet Ribbon last year but what with lockdown, masks etc getting up the nerve to finally wear it full impact has been a challenge! This eye look is totally my style (and I have similar deep set eyes as you) so great to see how well it works with the lip (though this would be my idea of a full on eye makeup!) And the colour tone tips are helpful
First, I freaking love your videos and your channel. It's been so nice to find someone else who has a fair, olive skin tone like mine! K, I would love a video explaining the effects of different shadows underneath your eye. I've always wondered - why would one put darkness/shadowing right under your eye? I've always been told it makes own more depressed looking and I'm also someone who has crazy dark circles, so I've always avoided that. Does any of this make sense? I would love a video explaining the purpose of this and trying different styles of eye shadow/contour right underneath your eye and see if there's any difference of looks or whatever.
