    Hey! Thanks for the review! I saw another comment where someone said that the Az80s lose some sound quality with third party eartips, is it true?
    Btw I bought myself the Az80s and wanted to try buying some different eartips, maybe some foam ones. Can you suggest a good brand for foam ones and a compatible model? (also, do the size translate 1:1?)

      I have been using SpinFit eartips with my AZ80s and haven't experieced any lose of sound quality.
      As for foam eartips, I recommend the Comply foam eartips. They should have some that fit the AZ80 earbuds.

    Great comparison of the two, I personally use my ear buds mainly for communication so comfort and connection is my main focus. That being said, I just bought the Jabras and I am truly surprised with the fit and comfort compared to my Beats Pro and Oladance open ear earbuds. I normally have a huge challenge with getting straight "in ear" ear buds to fit AND be comfortable. I'm only on the 2nd day but honestly I usually find out something isn't going to work for me within a couple of hours at most. Either they kill my ears like the Beats Fit Pros, or there is some sort of connection issue with people hearing me like in the Bose Quiet Comfort II. Hopefully these will continue to work for me as time will tell.

    My between 3ANC right bud is having issues with pressure for some reason. Earlier the screen came out while changing the tips, a month later and this starts happening….. it’s weird I need it in the perfect spot otherwise the sound changes or gets quiet due to pressure. I suppose I’m in the market for new buds to rotate with my app2. I wonder if it’s the Omni tips wide bore causing the suction? Or is it the screen needing a cleaning? I clean my ears every day (I use wired iems a lot) so I know it’s not my ear. I do like the EarFun free pro 3, but I use those at work (and gaming) and want a more premium one for my general content (movies, tv, music)

    • @ronontech
      @ronontech  6 месяцев назад

      Have you looked at the Denon PerL Pro, Devialet Gemini II, or Bose QuietComfort Ultra, Sony WF-1000XM5? I think any of these are a good replacement for the 3ANCs.

    • @Hijynx87
      @Hijynx87 4 месяца назад

      @@ronontech yeah I bought the Perl pro and the JLab epic lab edition. Also got a new 3ANC in white this time. I kept the JLab because it has that dongle for gaming, otherwise I would have returned it lol. It’s good, but it shouldn’t be $200, more like $125-150. I think the Soundpeats air4 pro is a much better deal, or EarFun free pro 3. Got the denons on sale for $280 and the 3ANC for $129, so I couldn’t pass that up.

  • @JLummin
    @JLummin 6 месяцев назад +5

    was looking at these 2 and couldn't decide and bought both. A week with both and think sound goes to AZ80, ANC close to a tie, transparency to AZ80 as I felt my surroundings were amplified more. Fit slightly to Jabra for the shape, app to AZ80 and touch vs button is whatever is preference but for me I've been used to touch and button maybe nice for wearing gloves but I don't wear gloves too much except winter and I have gloves that open to expose the fingers. With all of that, Jabra still a good choice but AZ80 my pick as all the pros overcome even the Jabra winning in fit. Price also factors but I prioritize sound and ANC/transparency.

    Got the Jabra Elite 10’s, thinking of changing to the Technics. Just can’t seem to get a good sound from the Jabra. The highs are so harsh they hurt my ears and have to dial them down so much it sounds dark and muddy. Mids so overpowering that they drown out what could be a really wide soundstage. When songs don’t have too much going on and the soundstage has room to breathe they sound great. When a song gets busy like a rock/punk/metal they are just too harsh for my ears. Must be just me, don’t see many reviews saying the same thing. Any one else experience this with the Jabra? Have to say they are awesome for watching tv though

      They are overrated. They do have great clarity and resolution but Sennheiser M3 are better in EVERY WAY except reliability: resolution, volume, bass, noise cancellation, ambient is about tie. The AZ80 and Elite 10s are actually neck in neck. The AZ80s have a SLIGHT improvement in separation and clarity but not enough to consider then better overall. I've done EXTENSIVE back to back with these two for HOURS as these are my last two purchases. Also the 100hz EQ band isn't ideal. Needs to be around 60hz, I don't want to boost midbass.
