  • Welcome back to our workshop! In today's video, Tom walks you through the step-by-step process of installing the Speedtech Performance Torque Arm Rear Suspension into a classic first-gen Camaro. Recently, Jeremy showcased his expertise by fitting this game-changing suspension into a local '67 Camaro right here in our shop, and we captured the entire process to share with you.
    Product Overview
The Speedtech Performance Torque Arm Rear Suspension for 1967-1969 Camaro and Firebird models is the ultimate solution for those looking to elevate their vehicle's handling and performance. Outdoing traditional leaf spring and 4-link systems, this package addresses and rectifies the usual geometry and traction issues, enhancing both high-speed performance and everyday driving comfort.
    Key Features:
Adjust-ability: Modify ride height, roll center, pinion angle, instant center, and wheelbase to your specifications.
Easy Installation: Requires minimal welding and zero floorboard cutting.
Optimized Design: The Articu-Link lower control arms combined with the Panhard Bar mounting system ensure no suspension bind and precise rear axle location.
Superior Bushings: Delrin bushings outclass rubber, poly, and metal alternatives by preventing flex, deformation, noise, and wear.
Included Components: Viking Double Adjustable coilover shocks with 2 1/2″ of ride height adjustment.
Additional Options: Complete rear axle kits with all brackets installed on a Dutchman 9” Housing, as well as DIY bracket kits for various differentials, are available.
Performance: This suspension package is optimized for up to a 345mm rear tire on fully mini-tubbed applications.
Unleash the true potential of your Camaro or Firebird with the Speedtech Performance Torque Arm rear suspension package - the definitive upgrade that harmoniously complements a Speedtech front suspension. Let's get that Camaro pushing its boundaries!

Thank you, i have been installing this same system on my 68 Torino. I have been making a few custom brackets and plates to adapt it since it was made for the Camaro/Nova and not my Torino. I am really looking forward to testing it out!

@@SpeedtechPerformance Just curious about how many of those IRS's you sell per year. They are expensive as there is a lot involved with them but that also puts them out of reach for many peoples budgets. I am interested in them but was wondering how many are in the field getting beaten on. There is nothing like real world testing to give an indication of the quality of design. Thanks.

Great job on the video! I’m looking forward to installing this set up on my 68 Camaro. I have already mini tubbed it so will be slightly different as you described.
Any other ways to stiffen up the body and keep it straight? Thank you!
