This album is the third of a trilogy, with each one following a trajectory. It's best enjoyed as an entire piece, song by song unfolding as a journey. The best emotional payoff is to start with the first album, but if you want a good taste for this album Ascensionism, The Summoning and Take Me Back to Eden are standouts. 🙏

The lead is Vessel, and II (2) is the drummer (III and IV tour with them to play guitar and bass, but they don't write/record).Vessel writes everything except drums, and he records all instruments and synths outside of drums for the studio albums. I strongly recommend going all the way back to the start of their discography - the talent was there from the start, but the GROWTH is incredible. The storytelling is also next-level.

Just saw them for the second time in St. Louis. Other music just hasn't hit the same since hearing these guys. The lyrics, the unique approach to musicianship, the overall vibe of each song, sucked me in from the moment I heard The Summoning early last year.
You might want to break out some headphones for sleep token. You will not believe the undertones and echoing voices and music that pop out it just makes the music sound so much Fuller. And down the rabbit hole you go
These monitoring earpieces actually have quite the clean distinguishable sounds, that plus my mixer do the job in a great way. Id need some heavy duty studio headphones to top these and those are expensive 😅

Every reactor has their own way of reacting to things and taking in information, i personally like to verbalize what i feel whilst listening. I understand if its not for you but thats the great thing abt youtube theres any sort of content for anyone, im trying to do mine as authentically and transformatively as possible
The reason why one cannot do that is because unless you have consent from the bands, youtube takes down the video cuz it is not transformative enough. I would love to be able to do so but youtube doesnt allow it given its automated system, but i totally see your point. The main reason a lot of pauses happen is cuz i neednto talk about the feelings i get while reacting to it but i see how it is not for everyone. I really appreciate the feedback tho
