When I saw them in Dallas, he began Rain on the keys doing a nice little solo on his own and then it kicks right into it. And then of course it has one of the hardest drops of the night when that guitar and bass hit. Then everybody is clapping and chanting throughout the rest of the song. It was great!
I don't know how every radio station in the world isn't playing this song every few hours. That halftime pre-chorus is so good and the whole thing is a massive earworm. If it was possible to listen to dessert, this would be it.

I had the piano tuned in and the layered vocals, but the cathedral sound effect and the screams at the end (not the obvious one) I was able to catch. Also on a side note wanted to say I watched a live performance of Ascensionism and the part where it breaks off into "diamonds in the trees pentagrams in the night sky" before the breakdown he sang "you make me wish I could disappear" while fighting tears. Well, after watching that and wondering why he put the wish I could disappear line there instead of the ending I went back and listened real close and could hear that exact line under the echos of diamonds in the trees. Amazing what they hide in their music. And if no one said, yeah that's Vessel playing the piano. 😊

I WANT you to pause and go back. Sleep Token was my intro to your channel, and I've mentioned it before, but I love that you pause to explain so often. I enjoy Sleep Token so much, I appreciate the music as a whole but I want to dive into it and tear apart everything that brings it together. There's something different in each song that tingles my brain, and I want to appreciate every little detail. Your channel accomplishes exactly that, for Sleep Token and so many other artists. It's not just enjoying the music, it's also taking the appreciation a step further to acknowledge the work put in. Even for bands that aren't Sleep Token, or my cup of tea, I can appreciate the hard work for their craft. The way you reacted at 5:15 is exactly the same reaction I had when listening for the first time. Watching you react is like reliving my first experiences over again, it's wholesome and fun and brings so much joy. I commend your self restraint in not listening to entire albums ahead of time!

I learn something new each time. Last time I finally noticed the literally constant drone in the background of Alkaline. With respect to his runs, I believe that sometimes his native accent emerges, so you get very unique takes. There are some unique “runners” mostly in female pop artists, but not often in other genres, especially metal. When I hear Vessel, I sometimes think of Eddie Vedder: 3:03 and on of “Are You Really Ok?” But I have also heard him sound like Robert Plant and Roger Waters. I have also heard portions of music that sound like Massive Attack and others sound like the Cocteau Twins, not derivatively though. The musical influences of these guys and their producers must be massive. You cannot break the “rules” if you don’t know them and Sleep Token is almost always breaking a rule, from song structure, to genre niches, to mixing, to each unique artist’s performance. Yay! I always accidentally open RUclips on your newest ST reaction days. The algorithm knows me. ❤

Depression's had me by the balls lately and I've been very down, finding happiness almost exclusively in Sleep Token. Today I ate lunch by myself on campus and stumbled upon your reaction to Alkaline and watched it on my way back to my desk and I. could. not. stop. smiling widely. it made me sososo happy, and once I came home in the eve I watched all of your Sleep Tokens reactions chronologically and they made me sooooo fucking happy 😭😭😭 nothing makes me quite as happy as someone else enjoying something I love, and your perspective on the songs is so much more in depth than my music layman ass, which not only helped me appreciate the songs EVEN more, but also made your being impressed with it sososos much better. many many thanks my guy, wish you all the best 🫶🏻

I love seeing how much you love Sleep Token 😁 You want a singer with range and emotion, with runs and out-of-this-world technique? Dimash (Qudaibergen) He does mostly neo-classical stuff, so nothing like ST at all, but his voice and what he does with it is amazing! SOS is THE song everyone reacts to, but I'd recommend "War and Peace" as something he composed himself and "Samaltau" from the Tokyo Jazz Festival because it's just absolutely beautiful. Neither are in English, but I don't think it matters - just consider his voice another instrument.
It's almost a religious experience. That little part where he sings about opening his eyes to the future, I seriously think he's talking to the fans, IMO
Sleep Token like to have their privacy and stay anonymous so when it comes to production and editing it has to be perfect and it has to be somebody they really trusted because they were identities get out that would be a travesty.
