Bay St. Louis, Mississippi - storm surge begins to splash over the roads as waves splash against the sea wall as Hurricane Sally takes aim at the MS Gulf Coast. Cars driving through the surge. A marina is flooded and boats are getting close to coming out of the slips. Boarded up windowns and sandbags in front of businesses downtown. Shots from drone and ground.
Prayer for everyone that will be affected by this and prayers that everyone is safe

Exactly thats basically only the start of the storm surge coming on shore for 24+ hours
Really shows that when you're called to evacuate ASAP, even days ahead of the landfall, they mean it.

@Kenneth Quinn I agree that people should conserve and not abuse the resources on our Earth but the fires in California are not natural.
@Kenneth Quinn no dumbass, native Americans used to do controlled fires to keep fires from getting out of control, like what's happening in California and Oregon. No reason why it can't be done today.

Well Texas has sent out crews to assist with recovery just this morning.
I'm in Louisville Ms,winds are picking up 7 09 pm
that much salt on the underbody is not good.
Aluminum and fiberglass stand up better to salt water than steel.

wish I was there. I've never seen a hurricane before.
I get that. I felt the same way, but never expected to have the chance. Then I found myself in Ningbo, China in August of 2005, with a typhoon approaching. I was supposed to fly out that afternoon to Shanghai, and return to the US the following day, but the rain and wind bands prompted me to cancel my flight out of Ningbo and take a train to Shanghai instead. When I got to Shanghai and was walking with my driver to the car, the heavens opened in an amazing deluge, drenching us to the skin in seconds and forcing us to bow our heads in order to breathe. We drove through residential streets watching the locals try to batten down their sidewalk stalls, etc. and arrived at my hotel in the French Quarter where I hunkered down for three days, watching through the plate glass lobby doors the spectacle of Shanghai trying to conduct business as usual. Amazing experience. I hope you get your wish... safely.
