  • My first test drive of my 1962 GM PD4106 Bus. This bus originally was a Greyhound Bus PD4106-1346. Central Greyhound Lines Kansas City Missouri, put into service 4/7/62. The bus has an 8V-71 Detroit Diesel engine, with an Allison V-730-D Automatic Transmission. It has been retrofitted as an RV, with front lounge, and kitchen and dining area, bunk beds, a bathroom, and a rear bedroom.

Do _YOU_ know of a way
      to retrofit power steering
      on a 60-year old bus?

@@jfitzpatrick6108 Judging from what he said he is speaking from experience, and he probably does. FYI the 4106 had power assist that used a hydraulic piston as a factory option, but most running around these days (including mine) have been upgraded to the Sheppard PS system, which uses a more standard box. Both are pretty readily available if you know where to look.
