Spede was most of all a producer. He produced all Uuno films, Spede Show -tv shows and a lots of other shows.

Spede was so ahead of his time in many ways, and this is just one showcase of that. Great reaction and remarks once again, the subtitles in the video you viewed were a bit wonky at times but understandable enough I suppose.

A nagging all-seeing and knowing AI is definitely what we need now that our conscience seems to have gone silence. Spede was known also for producing game shows for TV, and this was in the era when there were just few national TV channels. One popular show was Speden Spelit (Spede's Games), which he hosted himself. In the show celebrities competed in all sort of more of less goofy games. Big part of the entertainment was when Spede challenged the event winners and lost having of course first practiced the events himself like an athlete: "Speden spelit - Speden huono päivä 1997". Humppa is a music genre and a dance: "Liperin lava 08 humpan SM-finaali".

I guess a future AI ATM could work "interactively" like this, but on the other hand, cash money is getting out of fashion fast. But I guess there's always a need for ATMs as long as cash exists.

I think the idea behind the sketch is that the machine is taking the place of his wife that "sits on the money chest" so to speak. A lot might be lost in translation and/or culture.

All those actors are actually dead. Simo Salminen on the left died 2015, Pertti (Spede) Pasanen in the middle died 2001 and Vesa-Matti Loiri on the right died 2022.

Can you please even try to pronounce Spede Pasanen's name correctly? He was such a legendary figure in Finland and important to Finns that you could honor his memory by saying his name correctly. The name has two syllables Spe - de.
    NOT SPEED!!
Try saying the first syllable of the word special and the first syllable of the word Denmark without the letter n. Thank you!
