I am a Vadodara resident and Vadodara residents treat every member of the royal family with great respect. The royal family has helped the people of Vadodara a lot. They have built schools, colleges( MS University), government offices, hospitals(Sayaji Hospital), grounds for playing and so many things for the residents of Vadodar. I was born in the Royal hospital of Gaikwads maharani shanta devi hospital in badoda which is very close to Laxmi villas Palace. At that time My mom used to tell me the queen personally visit to the hospitals and ask about the health of the ladies. Moreover the contribution of gaikwad family Towards the people of Baroda is incredible. For the people of Baroda and as a barodian we considered sajirao gaikwad not as a king but a god he constructed dams which are still are in operations government medical hospitals pilgrimage centers temples bridges Maharaja sajirao gaikwadi University zoo railway stations and many other historical monuments for the welfare of society. The royal family really contributed too much as adopting others liking them as there own people. That's psychology of many Royal families who knows about good control to by having much Power. As with power comes big responsibility. They worked well with this statement. But as know family remains forever. But as the incident with the king 👑 given scholarship by badoda state to our mahanayak Bharat Ratna dr. Bhimrao ambedkar. That gives some boosts in there education. It's a little but very tremendous part in there life. As they are in our memories . This family also. But that also not big part. There are also other parts other aspects as the family contribution and the history of them and there palace. People says good byes they goes but some palace remains like a tree seeing . We see your memories in this palace if this question ❓ will be asked in future after 3, 4 hundred years laters. But currently they may pass there life peacefully. As who helps god helps them and there after. Helping others gives peace. There Preyers works sometimes. As if we say God works. As I am from middle class didn't seen this kind of palace, except big one in Mumbai "Shahu Maharaja Palace" is I seen in childhood @10th as that for tourists place now. But as time was so low 🔅,so we spend only some hours there. The trip of Mumbai darshan in 2001 name as 'Essel world'. Some are born to be king & queens to contribute or to make a stand for those who are trying to make a change taking good illustrative, visionary , illusionist thoughts.
