Ive been running an HPI long pipe and absolutely love the power, the look and the sound that I get from it. I own a 22 RGST and have been building it since I bought it. Slow build but building. Right now pushing 136 torque and 126 HP. Next will be head work. Great channel btw
I was very close to ordering the New fuel moto Contender exhaust which from what I was told by fuel moto uses the same baffle as the Jackpot RTX but contender looks wayy better imo. Instead I just fell in love with the HPI shorty exhaust. It looks absolutely incredible on the Low Rider ST. What sold me the most was the sound. Which is one thing you didnt really talk about in your video here. HPI hands down just sounds incredible with a Cam.

Bassani is a great company. They take the time to run their pipes through a flow bench and adjust designs accordingly. Keep in mind, the pipes Michael mentioned are based on HIS opinion and nothing more. He does a good job with research but he is also limited to what and how many pipes he can test. I have a Bassani exhaust. It’s a phenomenal pipe. I had two on a TC motor, and now I have the Superbike pipe on my m8 touring bike. I love it, but I have yet to put it on a graph to see the numbers.
@@MichaelBertini exactly, Where I got mine gave me 200$ off on the FP4 if I bought it at the same time, whyyyyyyyyy not. Now in a couple weeks when I cam it (cam/lifters/springs), Ill likely go PV. V&H exhausts are great, Tuner leaves something to be desired
There’s a lot of good pipes. I know it’s an older pipe but still is an excellent one is a Thunderheader. Especially for a bagger that a long pipe looks good. He didn’t mention a two brothers pipe that on another channel proved to be a great value price and performance combined . S&S makes some good pipes and Vance & Hines has some good new pipes for the M8 . The other really important thing is to have your bike properly tuned .
I have the D&D Billet Cat Big Bore on my 17 UL with a crate 131", power is amazing and sound is what you would expect for large can exhaust on a 2-1. Meanwhile he down talked them because of weight but neglected to mention that the system can be ordered without the" ghost pipe" which will save a lot of weight.
Title says performance exhaust. Do you have any experience with tuning? D&D on M8’s out performs all other brands for performance, especially on bigger performance builds.

Hey Michael! Just about to make up my mind regarding exhaust for my 2022 RG ST with manifold, 60mm TB and a Star Racing F35A-cam before going to the dyno bench.. The 2-1 is a no brainer for me, but I´m super confused on which of the 2-1´s on the market that actually has that really violent sound on both idle and during load. I just don´t like the mellow pipes with a bark when you hit it. I want it all no matter what.. Any suggestions on pipe that can meet these requirements and if there is anything that can be customized after getting the pipe to make it scream without losing that back pressure? Thanks man!
Like watching all sorts of videos about 2 into 1s. I kinda think you missed the boat on this one. The D&D and Riot are spot on the others not so much. I love HPi but they are bringing crazy power. I know this video was a month ago but today blockhead compared HPi to a TBR which was a grand less and actually the TBR hit harder at low RPM and was basically equal throughout. Look at kromewerks 2into1. How about the thunderheader? I’d even argue pre EPA Vance and Hines pro pipe is rt there and very cost effective. Keep up the good work.
Running A Pipe From Abused Bagger Nation. Full Titanium Exhaust (lightest iv ever felt) Great sound, Easy Install, And Amazing craftsmanship!! Check Them Out. Oh Yeah And Completely Hand Built... downfall is they are not cheap.
slightly misleading video. they might all make decent power but every exhaust on here will make power vastly differently then each other. shorty pipes are 100% mid to high rpm pipes they lose a LOT of bottom end torque

A little disappointed with the S&S superstreet 2into1 for my lowrider ST So I ordered the fuel moto contender pipe!!!! Not a big fan of the ice cream cone muffler like the fab28 or shorty jackpot riot
Love my Trask pipes im interested on weight comparrisons have a fueling reaper 472 and notice big differance when i installed my Trask Assult exhausth pulls like a $10 crack whore now

Blockhead did a comparison on these pipes and TBR pipes was putting out the same numbers as HPI pipes on the dyno.
I just ordered a fab 28. Full length exhaust. I did it because you don’t see a lot of those out there and it’s also a hand made custom pipe
I have the rtx long on my 131 cr 540 cam made 146 hp 159 torque with a slipping clutch. Great exhaust system.

I picked up a bassani 2 into 1 for 400$ CAD. Barely used, looks mint. I assume they would make it in a top 10.

There’s a lot of good pipes. I know it’s an older pipe but still is an excellent one is a Thunderheader. Especially for a bagger that a long pipe looks good.

At best you get a good sound. Power may go up 5%, the loss on torque is signicant. If you want power The engine needs work.
Other than D&D, you left out some heavy hitters, such as S&S, Vance & Hines, Two Bros, Bassani, Rineharts, Etc.

Completely subjective opinion. This video needs some dyno number comparisons, especially torque, or else it needs to be re-titled.
