Glad I run a TBR. Almost went with the HPI for way more money. Goes to show you don't believe the hype. Thanks fellas I'm feeling good about my choice.
Thank you for doing this. It really helps guys figure out what to go with, without having to lay out ridiculous amounts of cash. DAMN dude, almost 1/2 a MILLION subscribers !!! (Well Deserved).
I am excited to see what you guys get out of the D&D exhaust. I have 2020 Street Bob with a 128 Stage 4 and recently had the D&D bobcat put on and wound up with 149hp and 154tq. And that is with A1 performance heads and a fueling 592 cam. Im hoping you guys blow those numbers out of the water.
Throw a Bassani road rage mid length in there too! I’m just curious about it because I threw one on my 107 road glide with a zippers rs 468 cam tuned with the screamin eagle tuner (for now) I got 106hp and 118ft/lbs torque. Not sure if that’s concerned a good gain. I personally love it, it’s a blast. I just think it’d be cool to see where that pipe falls in the mid length shoot out on goldzilla. Regardless, I’ll be back for every video!
Even if the new Horsepower pipe has partial gains, the TBR pipe is still the winner for price point and availability in my mind. People swap pipes and intake because it’s the biggest gains per purchase note anyhow. Nice job guys!
I’ve loved TBR on both my harley and street bikes, but I do think the HPI sounds the best in person. Up there with Stealth Pipes it just gives it that little bit more character you can’t hear over a camera mic 🤌🏻
Is the TBR as loud as everyone says?😁 I’m stuck between the TBR Turnout and the Stealth Turnout. I want LOUD without the sound being weird and cracky if that makes sense..
Good comparison. That’s about dead even numbers and like Chris said the TBR actually took the HPI down low. There’s no doubt if I was buying one of these two I would go TBR and either put the grand in my pocket or use it on other parts. I don’t really think it matters if you have it on a big build like yours or a stage 2 the pipes should still perform the same way just with far lower power numbers. Can’t wait to see the next ones. What I would really like to see is trying a thunderheader or D&D full length Or kromewerks to see what the difference might be.
I went with Freedom Performance 2to1 for my 21 Fat Boy and although their customer service completely sucks once they fixed the problem I’m stoked with the pipe. Looks and sounds awesome and have me a bit of extra pep too.
I have a relatively short V&H upsweep and I thought it would cost me power because of all the hype I read online. My tuner said it performed better than he expected. Slight torque dip early but still hit 121hp with just a cam
Correct me if I'm wrong but yall are running pump gas Correct? What is it in Florida 91 or 93? Also I'm so happy yall have the time and desire to put this kind of content out for us, cause let's be honest this really is the kinda shit we care about, what sounds good and goes fast! Looking forward to the D&D and Sawiki numbers.
I don't know if D&D will do the best, but I will say you definitely need a hopped up engine to get the most out of the Fat/Low/Bob cat pipes. I got the Low Cat with standard louvered baffle on my 80" Evo that's a stage 3 (10.2:1 comp, Woods W6H .590 lift, Zippers Max Flow air cleaner, headwork/ported intake with 1.9 intake" and 1.61" exhaust valves, though still using the Keihin 40mm CV carb with 195 main and 45 pilot jets) and it makes great peak numbers but the lower end suffers a little (though not much, and nothing like it would with a drag pipe) compared to other pipes simply because it's still 80" and it can only move so much. I went ahead and got that one though because once I wear that engine out, I plan to replace it with a worked S&S 111" or 124", which I think is where it'll really shine. The D&D sound with that aggressive cam is great though-sounds like butt cheeks clapping on a wet fart, just like that low gruble you get with a properly worked 1970's muscle car.
I had a TBR on my Low Rider S and I thought it was great. I also didn’t ride with a passenger, nor was it a turnout version, so there weren’t any complaints from people around me.
Just bought a 21' FXBBS and have been looking for an exhaust couldn't decide between 2-2 and 2-1, my friends have convinced me that 2-2s just really aren't worth it so I've been looking at 2-1s and Couldn't decide between a turnout or comp-s. Perfect timing!
I dig the tbr for the sound, hpi got the look...be cool to see u guys get a new vance and hines 2 into 1 stainless mid pro pipe they just come out with....they have the stainless air filter too looks damn good.
U have links to these?? I dont see em on VH website. Funny thing I noticed while searching is they put cats into their dresser duals. Communist epa mustve been breathing down their necks
I love my HPI 2 into 1. The quality, workmanship and look is incredible. Plus USA made by a great group of guys and gals/Company. Owner, Jimmy Light will personally tune your bike as well.
Man, I keep hearing DnD exhaust, but keeping thinking for a plsit second that you're talkingt abour Dungeons and Dragons xD Both sound pretty dang awesome on the 'Zilla. Was awesome seeing some of the more techincal stuff again.
I always loved the parts with the knowledge and wisdom of the show when it regarded to enjoying life..Making the show more about living your life outside the battle and surviving
I scratched HPI due to wait time, crazy . I'm running Sawicki mid length and my buddy has the Bassani Superbike pipe,CR 483 cam in each bike and S.E. 55 mm with 5.5's. I can top end him but pulls are even. Limiter removed!👋💀
I went with a Bassani 2into1 on my fxlrst. I just cant justify spending any more money on an exhaust considering I'm not doing any other engine mods for the foreseeable future. This proves my hypothesis We ended up with 97hp and 117 torque with a screamin' eagle tuner
I have a Sawicki exhaust on my bike curious to see what the numbers are with the Sawicki. Dope vid though, a lot of people aren’t gonna like these numbers HPI vs TBR 😂😂😂
Great video, Got a 22 Street Bob with just a Stage 1 that I could drop off and you could do the comparisons on that if you wanted to, Im not far just here in East Orlando.
I believe, titanium exhaust is still the pinnacle even over stainless. Titanium also the loudest with a bell type 🔔 tone. That is because the metal can be so thin. It’s the lightest and corrosion, rust free.
D&D has great numbers, but doesnt stay together under high vibration. I tossed a D&D Bobcat for a TBR. The TBR is actually corroding, and it's still a better pipe than the D&D.
Both of them perform good , stainless hpi wins by look also , but THUNDERHEADER is a king in performance and one beat it in sound ...damn exhausts are getting hella expensive ..
I have a 1994 ultra with a 127 ultima and i put true twins on it and it sounds really good a head turner i no i loose a little on the bottom end have put twins on a bike before
Stock on that motor.. prolly 20hp less.. On a stock motor with tune. I would imagine half that.. but 10 ponies on a bike is a big difference.. not like a car. Actually I think thier is a old video with duals on goldzilla.. and it was around 15 hp less.
How about trying a thunderheader pipe . I had one on my 2005 Harley which I had a S&S 510 gear drive cam screaming eagle heads a 95” bore kit and a tuner . When I added the thunderheader it really came to life . I realize the motors are bigger and the pipe options are much more these days . I’d still like to see how it does especially compared to a D&D pipe on a bagger with a modified M8 motor.
I ordered and received two shirts from you guys and I'd just like to let y'all know that you might want to look into sticking with just one manufacturer because one of them I ordered in my normal size and it fits super tight everywhere, especially in the collar. I doubt I'll even wear it now because it's not comfortable.
Glad I run a TBR. Almost went with the HPI for way more money. Goes to show you don't believe the hype. Thanks fellas I'm feeling good about my choice.
Tbr looks better too imo
Tbr sound like shit hpi sounds incredible hands down my buddies tbr is garbage

Y’all should also do an SP Concepts pipe as well.
Even if the new Horsepower pipe has partial gains, the TBR pipe is still the winner for price point and availability in my mind. People swap pipes and intake because it’s the biggest gains per purchase note anyhow. Nice job guys!
TBR rocks. I also like the shorty pipe. Looks very clean and simple, but strong.
@@JakobKaizenI don’t feel like my tbr comp s is that loud. Maybe I just can’t hear
How about SPC vs Horsepower inc ? That would be very interesting to see
You guys though about doing a Thunderheader or RedThunder Exhaust just for the old school two into one numbers? 🧐
I'd like to see bassani in the mix. I really liked mine. But either way I love these comparisons.
I absolutely love these comparison vlogs & I really can’t wait for the D&D
I'm about to pull the trigger on a sawicki but now I'm gonna wait for this vlog to come out. Perfect timing.

Is it as loud as everyone says?😁
Hells Yeah! Gotta give it to TBR for the win and I think they sound much better. Great video Blockhead. It’s all for science.
I went with Freedom Performance 2to1 for my 21 Fat Boy and although their customer service completely sucks once they fixed the problem I’m stoked with the pipe. Looks and sounds awesome and have me a bit of extra pep too.
Can you do the bassani Road rage plz for science
I have a relatively short V&H upsweep and I thought it would cost me power because of all the hype I read online. My tuner said it performed better than he expected. Slight torque dip early but still hit 121hp with just a cam
I had the same pipe on my Sporty and I absolutely loved it!
I’m running that on my 21 fxlrs and was wondering if I was losing power with it. Little reassurance reading your comment lol

All our test are done on pump gas, bc let’s be real, that’s what we use in our bikes! Here in FL, we run 93 👍🏼

The TBR exhaust is my favorite sounding exhaust in the M8
I had a TBR on my Low Rider S and I thought it was great. I also didn’t ride with a passenger, nor was it a turnout version, so there weren’t any complaints from people around me.

For a $900 dollar difference TBR all day unless you just got money to throw away. great video and information.

You should also do a stealth exhaust as well, they are out of Florida! Price is right around 1k
Can’t wait for the Sawicki, I have the long version for my 2020 street Bob and planning on doing a star racing 30/30 cam
Great info . Thanks. That puts the end to my dilemma if to go on a 28 week wait list !
how about a fab28industuies exhaust system??
For Science! Excellent as always, add the Fuel Moto Contender to the list!

What's the verdict on Bassani Road Rage exhaust?
To be determined when we test one 👍🏼
Great video , cant wait and see the d&d up for comparison.
Glad you mentioned octane and weather 👍
Thank you for making this video! Guess I'm keeping my TBR... 131 builtFeuling with 140/160
Ordered my HPI in July 2022 and still waiting for the bad boi for my ST. Dope pipe, but is the 7+ month wait worth it? i hope.
No lol
…was thinking about the sword openers!!!
Bring ‘em back!!!😁🤙😎
You guys should do the high output fab28 pipe next.

I’d love to see a comparison to a Freedom Performance Combat exhaust. It appears similar to the TBR but with a big sound difference
I would like to see numbers on the SP Concepts 4.5 big bore
How about a V&H Pro Pipe? Those are really popular in my area.
I’m bouncing between Bassani Road Rage and S&S Superstreet.. anyone have any experience with these??
Please do the Bassani Road Rage as well… mercury
I got great results with a bassani 2 into 1 so it's worth comparing
My man, Chris, always looks smooth. Will BLOCKHEAD be doing in-house clothing in the future 👌🏾
Both are good looking exhausts. Every time there is an exhaust episode, I get the nostalgia of the "new exhaust in parking garage sound check "
Lol those were some great sound checks to perform 😁
Great video as always! I'm still rocking the sweepers on the fxbb, but these 2 to 1s be calling me.
Quite informative 👍🏼
Would be noce to have decibels for the pipes as well
Not going to test the Bassani, 2 into 1?
I have a Sawicki exhaust on my bike curious to see what the numbers are with the Sawicki. Dope vid though, a lot of people aren’t gonna like these numbers HPI vs TBR 😂😂😂

Who did the welds? They look amazing.
I prefer the TBR look on GoldZilla, HPI sound might have a slight edge. Good ep

How about a thunderheader high pipe? Curious to see how that stacks up against the competition
Love my hpi. I wish it cleared 14s but it’s still sick
Great video. Thank you guys. Would love to see thunderheader #s
I wonder where the S&S and Vance and Hines 2 into 1 fit in with these.
Why does your bike look the coolest
Spb fab makes a really good exhaust also
throw a thunderheader on that setup as well, its one the original performance pipes.
Eye opening test for sure.
Thanks Dr Wideglide for you cool information! Block peace!!
I was just talking about this the other day. That some independent shop dynoing different exhaust systems or any part for that matter
need to test a BURNS Stainless.. best pipe imo

The HPI pipe looks so much better than the Tbr but the price difference is crazy
I believe, titanium exhaust is still the pinnacle even over stainless. Titanium also the loudest with a bell type 🔔 tone. That is because the metal can be so thin. It’s the lightest and corrosion, rust free.
Titanium retains less heat and cools almost immediately after engine off
D&D has great numbers, but doesnt stay together under high vibration. I tossed a D&D Bobcat for a TBR. The TBR is actually corroding, and it's still a better pipe than the D&D.
Tbr makes the best pipes…. Stealth is also very fair to bring into this conversation
Both of them perform good , stainless hpi wins by look also , but THUNDERHEADER is a king in performance and one beat it in sound ...damn exhausts are getting hella expensive ..
Weird that the TBR has more low end power with it being a shorter pipe. Everyone says longer pipes have better low end .
How about an SPB Fab and a Fab28, be great to see those bad boys too
Can you test a Jekill&Hyde 2in1 Exhaust? It would be intrested.
Can't wait to see the D&D video
If like to see the fuel moto riot pipe in the mix as well

That was freaking slick with that knife block
Does it shoot flames?🔥
Just out of curiosity, what would the stock exhaust do compared to these exhausts?
