  • Our first overland trip out of the state of Ohio. We head out on a short journey not too far from home to Slade, KY. Down into the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. A place by the name of Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway. Jake and Michael in their 19’ Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, Keith in his first gen Toyota Sequoia, and Brooke and I in our 02 Ford Ranger. We head into the area not knowing a whole lot about the surrounding areas other than the few roads we had planned out.

What a fun trip so far. How cool was that cave/tunnel? Props to that Toyota SUV keeping up with you all. Have a great day 😃

Jim we had a blast. NADA tunnel was probably one of the coolest tunnels I have been through. (Not very many 😂) Kinda sketchy, traffic wise. Keiths Sequoia did great, especially after he figured out some little tricks with his atrak (Offroad traction control) or whatever it’s called. We appreciate you!

Awesome trip! First time I've ever tested the Sequoia off road, learning the quirks of the traction control, and learning that it barely fits in a lot of places. Great campsite too, I'd love to go back.

The maiden voyage is the best. It’ll only get better from here. Get some mods done for our next trip out! Can’t wait to get back out.

Awesome video 👍👍. We ride the DBBB all the time and camp in the gorge. We live in Ohio and started trying to find some of the trails in vinton county this past summer. Only one we got to ride was Albright road in the dark and pouring down the rain. And come to find out ran it in reverse by accident. Hoping to get back this summer and explore some more.
