BYU's tackling and overall defense was of Ute quality BYU's offensive schemes made this Ute envious Kingston is a Covey=esque machine Ferrin put height and depth on his long FGs; Buffs kicker did not True that Colorado's lack of depth hurt them Mad props
As a Y fan. I have no problem acknowledging the Ute influence BYU has. That’s what makes our rivalry the best in the nation. Our teams and fans are all family. Utah vs Everyone.
@Investigacions yes, because Utah still ended up at or near the top of the conference in defense, and Colorado's average field position for scores was approximately at the Utes 49-yard line
The talent discrepancy was stark. Colorado had two players I would swap for anyone on the BYU roster. BYU was bigger, faster and stronger. BYU bullied the Buffs all game long. Watching Colorado try to tackle BYU was the most entertaining part of the game. Jake needs to learn how to protect the ball. He is still holding the offense back with his poor decisions.
Great record, but I see things a little bit different. For example Jake R. Did not perform well only doing enough to get the job done. Much like most of the games played this year. The team verily won most of the good teams and verily won the bad teams. We won games this year on the leadership of the coaches and players. I see many gaps especially in the offense. Maybe we should be looking for a that will give us a better edge. Can Jake R. Still make improvement we need? Or has he shown us his best and hit his plateau? So should we bring in another qb and start the competition again to the quick room?
For every good Jake pass, he had an awful pass. He was his typical mediocre self. He needs to take another leap forward with his decision making. He is holding the offense back big time.
A-Rod has to go. Doesn't know how to use the TE enough, doesn't know that he has a running back that needs to run it more, and doesn't know when to stop doing horrible trick plays

You say: "BYU's tackling and overall defense was of Ute quality."
You mean the quality that allowed Colorado to score 49 points on the Utes?

Great tackling in space

Kelly P changed the players for the Colorado onside kick that kept them from getting the ball. It would be interesting if you could analyze it .
Keeping coach Hill in Provo is going to be near impossible.
Do whatever it take

ARods finest hour. Only 2 red zone turnovers on unnecessary trick plays!
