I got my first SS 86 figure in the mail a few days ago. It was the Coronation Starscream. I got an amazing deal on Walmart, Starscream for $35 instead of the Leader class price of $55. The accessories are awesome and I was in need of a Starscream in order to get some more Decepticons in my collection. The 86 Brawn looks awesome. I only saw him once at Walmart when I was picking out a few figures for Birthday presents to myself. Never saw him again.
I think every Brawn has gone down in history of having some of the most satisfying transformations ever like I can’t recall a single one that’s ever been a pain to swap back and forth between
Hey J4 I finally got Brawn last night at Target in Fremont here in California. I’m happy that I finally got him because he’s one of the toughest Autobots I know
The real value of previous dead two pack came from the use of painted windows ngl, as Ironhide really benefits from not having the blue show in robot mode. If another two pack would give us that but for Ratchet, I'd be happy (as the painted clear plastic is even more noticeable on him). That being said, I'd much rather they just release Ratchet with painted windows like they did with Cliffjumper
I have a lot of love for the legends mold. I have the outback version and it's a nice little desk toy. when I found out about the new one, I was kinda annoyed because i'm a fan of the prime wars era legends/scout pricepoint and minibot characters being deluxe scaled cements that hasbro has given up on it. the engineering they're getting is cool though. I just miss getting figures at lower pricepoints that are meant to fit with the rest of the line. core class really hasn't done that barring a few great examples like rattrap and wheelie, and imo it's overall not as good as the past selection of legends.
Wow. 1. That part with the spare tire ain't a shield, it's an admittedly weak attempt at a gun. 2. That retooled repaint of Brawn is Outback, not Off-road; Off-road was that truck who replaced Wildrider among the Combiner Wars & IDW Stunticons. 🤣😂 3. Funny thing how SS86 Brawn doesn't have the 5mm ports on the forearms; he effectively can't imitate that scene from a season 1 episode where he snatches Megatron's fusion cannon *AND SHOOTS HIM WITH IT* before it gets yoinked by Laserbeak. 4. 86 Brawn...I don't see an Outback happening unless Hasbro puts him in the mainline next year like they did with Kingdom Pipes and Legacy Twincast. It's not a bad mold, but like the upcoming SS86-29 Bumblebee, it's chunky and rough. 5. I dunno. I liked the Legends scale Minibots (especially considering that Legacy Beachcomber isn't that big an upgrade over PotP Beachcomber). Not sure how they can possibly outdo the likes of PotP Windcharger (and his season 3 new head repaint Tailgate).
Nope, clear plastic looks more realistic. I hate painted windows. Paint chips, so once you get a scratch, your Optimus or whatever else now has an unsightly torso. scratch damage to clear windows is hardly noticeable. There are also ways to use clear plastic for windshields without making a whole hinge out of it.
Outback is the tarn colors one 😂

You hit the nail on the head with the Brawny joke
OTS-02 Brawny by Badcube
R.I.P. Badcube. Thank god.
I can't even look at the G1 Brawn design anymore, I've been spoiled by the BB movie design

3:47 oh they did now hahah
Titans returns wins in my book! Playability is amazing. Adding Titan masters riding brawn is fun
Another great video
Tan one is called Outback

I feel the TR could have made a decent Bulkhead with that Alt mode.
Nah…… give me that clear plastic for the windows! It can be tinted! lol
