Absolute madness specs on this one, these are £789 in the UK ($968). You just don't see those specs at this price point.

They are going for $1,399 here in the USA. I just looked it up hoping it would be closer to $1k, but with high quality appointments I don't see an issue with that cost.

Gater Tone on Reverb is clearing these out between 700-800 shipped in the USA on Reverb now for anyone looking. I think they have between 3-6 left at this point.

I picked up my first 7 string a few years back with the Cort KX507 Multiscale, and absolutely love it. It had everything I wanted at a price point a few hundred under most other brands. I'm sure this Evertune will be another wicked riff/shred machine.

I have been eye balling Cort for a bit now, and their stuff has come a long way. I got to try one of the 7 string MS guitars and it felt amazing. Played great, neck was quick and setup out of the box was actually just about spot on. I have been looking at getting a guitar with an evertune and this might just be it. I thought about getting an Evertune installed on one of my current guitars, but that's going to be about $600+ inc shipping and such. Might as well just buy a new one, and have fun. Thanks for the review as always Fluff, love your work.

I have been bitten by the Cort bug recently and I absolutely love them. I have an X700 Duality MK1 and a G300 Pro and they are amazing instruments. They play every bit as nicely as my Jackson USA Select SL2H and sound great as well with the Duncan pickups. For the money, you get a LOT of guitar and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

I bought one of these last year and it was cheaper to import from Thomann than to buy from anyone here in the states at the time. I really liked the guitar and it plays extremely well. One of the pots had a short in it but I just had it replaced when I had it set up. The Evertune really does keep this thing in tune all the time. It's great to use for tracking guitars for recording due to the playability and not having to stop and retune between takes. The only real downside now is the pickups aren't as hot as some of my other guitars so I have to adjust the volume on my amp if I play this one at practice or at a show.

I picked up one of these recently. Admitedly I was a bit dubious as I just associate Cort as being a cheap entry level guitar but its genuinely shot straight up to being my most played guitar, and thats coming from somebody whos sitting in a room with 30+ high end guitars.

  • @FuckYourFortune

I have one for about a year now. It is a great guitar but there are some little imperfections. For example: the pickup switch and one of the pickups were moving on mine when it arrived, its not really a big deal. My biggest problem is with the neck and the frets. The ebony fretboard shrinks a lot so be prepared for some sharp edges on the way that should be dealt with. Oh by the way the frets. They are said to be stainless steel. Mine are getting a little rusty after only a year. Overall a great guitar but you will eventually get some problems that should be taken care of. Also mine is a little bit on the heavy side but it shows that it has some wood in it.

Nice looking axe there! I'd also say the elimination of pitch drift is a huge benefit with an Evertune. Especially nice when downtuning and not running huge strings. Maybe it's not as beneficial for others because it seems to not be mentioned most of the time when people talk about this bridge?

@@jayz6008 It's sweet! Neck feels great and it looks awesome in person. As someone pointed out below, it does have some sharp fret ends that I'll need to take care of but beyond that it's amazing. I tuned it to Eb for now. It was set for drop Db/Eb standard when I got it. I would say that if you can find one for $900 or less (which you should be able to do) it's a great deal.

Yes, great question! I'm also very interested in an answer to this question. I'm planing to purchase this guitar for metal stuff, but this means I want to use it in all different alterante tunings, from B to D. Depending on the covers I want to play, I might go from B to C, C# and D within a time range of 2 hours, so I'm keen to know how Evertune will react to these tuning changes.

Its got some fairly obvious DNA to it, in form and function. Kinda looks like a Schecter body shape, with a PRS S2 top carve on it, with LTD specs, and Keisel back. Definitely mixing and melding alot of popular appointments together in 1 guitar. But does that make it cool? I guess it mighy for some people. The price is way too high for the market right now. Maybe at $899 it would sell, some. Still very cool and interesting to see what Cort is moving towards.
