Good video. Mine was working, but I may have damaged something during casing. Once it goes off in default mode it won't stop! 555 timer? I did get hot glue near it. It self tests and changes modes just fine.

All you do is put the positive wire to the switch and from the switch to were the positive wire solders on to the board. It just cuts the power between the battery and the board.
If you purchased the kit and it didn't work you should email the company who made the kit, maybe they will send you a replacement chip. You can also buy a new chip and program it .
@@SLIVERGYM Did you try the working Pic chip in the 2 other circuit boards? You may have 2 un-programmed pic chips. You can always try reprogramming the pic chips.

Can you tell me how I would add an external power switch instead of the push buttons? How would I write that up with a 9 volt battery? Thanks

I bought a second one and still does not work! Clearly there a scam!!!!!
