I recently started using this tape and was just getting ready to mention it in an upcoming video.
Thanks Erica for Explaining how to use the Diagonal Seam Tape and showing the entire process. Your Tips Are Very Helpful!
As a new quilter I love all the tips and tricks you share. I’m also very appreciative that you still take the time to draw the lines in your tutorials. Sooooo now I think I’m gonna NEED this tape in my life 😎
I always learn so much from your tutorials. Thank you for your to the point instructions.
You read my mind. I recently got this and haven't put it on the machine yet and was thinking I might look up how to use it just in case before I tried it and boom.... video. Awesome!

Love the short tips and watching you before work at 7.30
I like the short tip videos as well as longer ones. Thank you ❤️
Now I know how to use it. Thanks Kathy
I love the short, informational videos! Love all of your videos ☺️ Would you ever consider doing a video about using cuddle fabric as your quilt backing? I want to use it for a backing but my local quilt shop tried to steer me in a different direction. I love how you used it in some of your quilts. Thanks for creating for us!
It's useful for sewing jelly roll strips together and keep them straight!
I have this tape by Cluck Cluck Sew. It is a game changer. It is cheap and saves me sooo much time. Thanks for sharing it with others.
You are so kind to share your knowledge of sewing. 😀
Thanks Erica!! Have that tape, but haven't used it. Now I definitely will. I also like your tip about cutting the tape so you can remove the table if you need to for some reason. Keep up your videos. They are super helpful (even if you've been sewing for years) and enjoyable. Hugs
Thank you for this great Example of how to use this tape. I have a roll of it never even take it out of the package. I have heard other people talk about it but I've never seen anyone use it. Now I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Thanks for this tip. I bought some and could not figure it out
Thank you for the visual. I just received mine from Missouri Star and saw Jenny using it first in a video. So handy!
Love Jax's cameo and plug for Olivia's book at the end! Thank you for this very concise tutorial on the diagonal seam tape. Yes, please keep the quick tips coming. Would love to see one on bias tape makers. I own two sizes and have never used them.
Love my diagonal seam tape it’s been a game changer
Love these videos. Great tip!! No more drawing lines for me. Thank you!
You can say that again!

Oh my gosh I'm glad you did that
Yes more tips please! You are a great teacher and inspiration. Thank you
Brilliant video with great demonstrations 🤩 I can see lots of possibilities and time saved 👍👍 Thank you so much 😊🇬🇧
Great vid! Thanks
Thank you Erica for another wonderful tutorial! I’m going to get some of this tape and try it! I can see how it would save a lot of time! Also, I would sure love another short quick tip tutorial where you can explain how to use Bosal double sided vs single sided fusible foam; and when you would use single sided and when you would use double sided. That would be great! Thank you again! 😊
Great short hint. I need help and hints for installing zippers. Thank You.
Thank you! Nice demo! 👍🏼I have some of this tape, but have never used it! Guess I'll give it a try! 🪡🧵🥰
Thanks Erica, that tape is fantastic, now I can finally master the all important 1/4” seem. 😊😊
I’m gonna try n find this tape.
This video was very helpful, thank you. I will be looking for more of your videos.
Hi Erica, You mentioned this tape in a video some time ago so naturally I had to have it 😊 So I used this tape for the first time making my first TOTM. It didn’t take long to realize what a game changer it is sewing diagonal lines! Thank you for that tip and this video explaining a few more tips. I’m sure we are all happy to see these short videos, you have plenty of sewing knowledge to share.
Hi Erica, Great idea, as I used a magnetic guide which kept moving & not good for computerized machine & magnets. My bobbin plate is unfortunately right in front of needle & I'd have to cut it b4 & after the plate & the free arm slot. It is doable but a few pieces. Thanks for the mini tips. I enjoy them.
Thank you!!!!
Great tip videos!! Awesome. Love watching you. So inspirational 🥰🥰🧵
Great tip! Thanks.
Thank you for sharing this I just ordered some
You’re the best! Thanks so much for the info!
Thanks for this tip,I just ordered me some of the tape!
Great quick tip video... thank you! I saw this tape at the craft store the other day, I wondered how it was used. Thanks. :)
Great to see it used in action... I’ll pull mine out and try again. 😁
Thank you
Hi Erica I had Google this Item. I have been sewing most of my life but have only just heard about it. Now I will have to get one. Thankyou.xx

Another great tip! I love the short videos as well as your longer tutorials. I always learn something new from you.
I just got my tape in todays mail & watched your video so hue to apply & use it. Your video was very helpful. I too like the short & long videos.

Thanks, great video.
Thank you Erica! I have this tape also and haven’t used it yet either! I LOVE the quick tips!
I just discovered this and really love it. Thanks for this video!
Awesome video!!! I learned so much and I am going to try it out tonight. Thank you! Just made my night! 😊
Thankyou for a great video. Buying some of that tape.
Thank you Erica I’ll be purchasing the seam tape for sure! It will be great for my beginners at church who want to learn to sew and everybody will be making accurate seam allowances. Of course we all love Spring and I have a lot of springtime favorites, but in addition to sewing 🧵, I love just sitting and feeling the gentle breeze across my face and anticipating my next sewing project! Would love to win the box!❤️
Thanks Erica! Perfect timing! I was just about to open the package and wondered how to use it properly! Yay no more drawing lines! Love it!
I just bought my first roll, too. Excited.
Thanks for the tutorial on the diagnostic seam tape. I received some in a subscription box and wasn't quite sure how to use it. Love all the little tips you give us on your channel.
Thank you 😊👍👏🥰🌸🇦🇺
Thank you for the demonstration it’s really helpful
Thanks so much for this short video. I have the tape but had some problems arise and you answered my questions. I like the short videos too!
Thank you 😊
Thanks so much for that Erica. I just bought that tape a few weeks ago but I haven't put it on the machine yet I'll have to find it put it on the machine and put it through its paces!
Thanks for the tip about making a slit in the tape. I never thought of that. Will have to start using the Diagonal Seam Tape more often. I just have to make sure that I don’t have to replace the bobbin because the tape lays right over my bobbin case. See you next time.
I am so happy I added this notion to my sewing machines
Great tutorial I've been struggling with the seam allowance. I believe this will help. Thank you
I ordered some of this and it’s arriving today. I couldn’t wrap my head around how it works. Thank you for this 😅
Gracias por tus consejos y explicaciones.🥰
Thank you for this! I just bought a roll of this at a thrift store and came right to RUclips to see what it was 😅
Love your tutorials! Could you do one on measuring your back fabric for quilts cutting it and sewing it to fit your quilt?
Hi! I do have a video on how to prepare backing for a quilt and how to baste it here:
www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com/blog/2016/07/quilting-101-how-to-baste-a-quilt.html
Great video
Love this! Never heard of this tape and will pick some up immediately!
Thanks for sharing how to use this. I have it but wasn't sure how to get it lined up.
I thought I might need one of those little bubble level to make sure it was straight.
Love this tape! And I love how it works on my new Juki, you can get so close to the needle without worrying about the bobbin case ❤️
Hi I would like information on different presser feet!
Good morning! I have the tape and love it. My friend Pam showed me how to use it. Thanks for your helpful videos and tutorials!
Love your quick tips. I've had this for awhile, but hadn't used it. Watched your video and tried it. Game changer.
Love the quick little book plug from Jax 😘🥰. Thanks soo much for the awesome little instructional video for the diagonal seem tape! Would love to see one for strip piecing larger number of blocks (postage stamp block). How to put the strips back together using a jelly roll for example. Thank you Erica. Love this!!🧰
Great demonstration. Thank you.
Thank you for this! Very helpful 😊
Thank you for all your videos ❤❤❤
I’ve used the tape ever since you mentioned it. I always move my plate to clean my machine under it. I can mark it like you did to move extension
Great for triangles. I'd hoped to use it to help me with straight stitching 1/4" seams. So I will play with it and see what I can work out. I have visual issues so I need help.
Loved it
Thank you Erica 😀 I enjoyed just watching how you deal with things : soooooooo cool and beautiful 💝🌺🌹
Thank you I will have to get me some of that love it
Thank you so much for this tip! I have been considering purchasing this tape but was unsure of how accurate it is. You have answered all my questions! Great job! Love your presentation. Short and to the point!.
Lovely seeing ur video again! ❤️ We have missed ur hair videos at home with ur daughter. Can u please do another hairdye and cut video at home and record the process??❤️
Perfect!
I LOVE this tape. It is a game changer for me!
Thank you, nice job!
Thanks Erica for this wonderful video! Love the quick tip videos!!🥰😘❤️
Thank you so much for this tip!! 🥰
Game changer! Thank you so much!
Love this tip. I will definitely try it.
What is the fabric under your sewing machine? I would love to see more tutorials but no clue of what. I really enjoy your videos and think you explain things in an easy way to understand
Hi, those are both bonnie and Camille prints from my stash :)
Love the tips
Thank you for this great tape tip!
I would like help on using a button hole or zigzag stitch around the edges of fused appliques. I spent too much time in class preparing the appliques and never mastered the stitch. I think there was some puckering and wondered if I should put stabilizer under the applique to avoid puckers? I was sewing the cotton appliques to a single layer of batik. It's a UFO of many years.
Hey Erica! I really enjoy the videos. One thing I need help on is doing the tires on the quilts of the month. My tires always end up looking wonky!!! So I’d love a short video on that :)
Hi! I probably won't do that, but one tip I have is to make sure to trim the tire units down to as instructed in the pattern, and also make sure to press as directed by the arrows. Then when lining things up, make sure to pin at the tire intersections. That way they will all line up!
@@erica_arndt thank you!! I’ll make sure I’m doing that correctly! Thanks for the tip!
I have a Brother machine which defaults to the needle being to the left & not right down the center (a feature which I absolutely detest). I guess I would apply it the same way, lining it (the red line) up with the needle?
I love my seam tape I have several rolls. Lol Thanks for the video Erica!
Why do you need so much of it if you only use it that one place on the sewing
