I LOVE that setup. The animal can dig around and hide and do all the things a hamster would love to do. If i see one more video on youtube where the cage is super small, made from plastic and has almost nothing on the ground to dig... I saw a video from a mouse that just had babys and the babys where just laying on the plastic. The mother had no nest because the cage was almost empty... Makes me angry... This cage on the other hand is great. Thanks for careing ;)

This cage setup is beautiful! I kinda want to make a natural theme setup for Gumdrop. Right now she has a pretty basic habitat with a bunch of random accessories and hides from home goods and the pet store. Where do you buy all of the natural theme items, because I can’t find them at any stores I look at. Pancake looks so happy 😊

Thank you so much!! I don't really need to clean the wheel, as Pancake doesn't pee on it, but it would be a good idea to use a food grade wood sealant that is safe for hamsters to coat it, then you would be able to clean it! I hope this helps! 🐹💕

Have you/could ypu do a video on all the food mixes and forage you use? I was advised by a vet to use pellet good (not the colourful muesli mix 🤮) but this seems better!

@@pancakespets you are correct about the nutrients but it is also unbalanced because since it has no lab analysis been done on the food it causes malnourishment if been on the food too long + it has pellets which is very unnecessary for hamsters diet. 😊

It's not unsafe! It just doesn't have a good balance of nutrients. I am getting a new food mix soon though 🐹💕
