Thanks for watching the videos and supporting the channel! Your support of these videos and subscription to the channel makes it possible to produce this content.
Why you do not show the strumming pattern in your videos? Chords are very helpful and hope you can improve your channel by adding the strumming patterns.....🤔
I have a post about this in the community area of this channel, but I will answer your question.
1) Most of the songs have no exact strumming pattern. There was no original ukulele.
2) I make a tutorial video, linked in the description, for every new play along (and have done so for three years), for people that need help playing the chords and finding a strumming pattern that works. So if you need a strumming pattern, go to that video, and watch just that part of the video.
3) These videos are made, first and foremost for SCHOOLS, with music that students want to play. While everyone is welcome to use the songs, teachers-if they stress an exact strumming pattern (and they shouldn’t, as there is not a single strumming pattern)-want to teach their OWN strumming pattern, not one said to follow in a video.
4) I appreciate your desire to improve my channel. With all seriousness, WE NEED MORE CREATORS who are willing to make videos for others, for free (These channels cannot earn revenue). Please consider joining us if you have the skills and time to do so!
@ukeplayalongs thank you very much for your answer which I do understand and fully agree that there is not one strumming pattern, the person can do their own for any song. My input was just because every video you share is well done and I asked to myself why no pattern. Now by reading your answer I do understand. I am not a good baritone player and that's why I am your subscriber, therefore for the moment, I can't be a creator that you desire. Thank you for taking time to answered my question.
@donfredu ✌️🤠👍
Thanks for your reply! If you play baritone ukulele in DGBE tuning, there are baritone versions for every song (this comment was on the GCEA version). I never know what the RUclips algorithm shows people...so I wanted to make sure that you knew about that, too!
I love your content. Thank you. Merry Christmas.
Please fix this line - 'I hope he won't forget to PACK his CASTANET'.
The online lyrics show this as “clack” which makes sense, because Santa would clack them together to get the reindeer going. Packing them doesn’t really fit the context.
