  • If you've been wondering how to dress balletcore, or my new favorite aesthetic, ballet sleaze, this video will show you how to do just that.
I'm sharing balletcore and ballet sleaze outfit ideas with you from my perspective as a ballerina, including the specific pieces from my wardrobe that I think work perfectly for building outfits surrounding this aesthetic, and the creative process behind how I build the outfits themselves.

If you love ballet, you're in the right place. I'm an adult beginner ballerina finally following my dreams of becoming a dancer in my 20s. I share a lot about my dance journey including ballet, jazz, burlesque and all the other other styles I'm trying in between. Of course as a former (wannabe) fashion blogger, I still love all things vintage, thrifting and styling so videos like these are the perfect way to satisfy so much of what inspires me creatively!

    🍓 HI, I'M VERONICA VICCORA
Hi there! I'm Veronica, welcome to my beginner dance journey. When I was 17, I was told by a teacher that I would never be a ballerina. I let that thought control me for YEARS but now, in my late 20s, I moved to New York City and I'm finally starting ballet late. This is a space for me to document the ups and downs of learning how to do ballet in my 20s and show anyone that it's never too late to live your dreams.

This was my favorite styling video of all time! I loved all of your outfits, especially the 70’s touches. It was so unique how you tied the ribbon around your bustline on the sheer petticoat outfit. It was even more flattering that a straight line on the shirt would have been, and such a cool idea. I’ve always loved tutus and sheer fancy pieces over pants. I also have had a lifelong addiction to Mary Jane shoes, and I love how you wore yours. You’re such an inspiration for so many women, and watching you explore your dream of becoming a ballerina has been so special. You are a beautiful dancer and so very talented. You also seem to be a very intelligent and sweet woman, and your videos are always uplifting. I took ballet lessons from age 4-12, and I regret ever quitting. Thank you for making great content and encouraging women to never give up on their dreams! 🤍

These outfits were so fun, I’d love to see a winter version. I’ve been trying to figure out how to add balletcore to my winter style while still being warm

for the school girl one, maybe adding a bun would make it more ballet and less normal?
i thought the pettycoat was gonna be a part of the top :')
the fila skirt is giving me tate mcrae energy (love her) !
the red pants one, with the right earring and shoes i think it could be even more elevated (it's giving danseuse étoile, rehearsals to gala afterparty)
the black legwarmer maybe is a little too high so it seems like it's part of the skirt

Love the creativity and fun but doesn’t come together cohesively for me even in the intentional chaos way

sorry but i absolutely hate the petticoat in outfit 3. it's just way too sheer to look good over the jeans. i do appreciate your style but i personally just did not appreciate that piece in that outfit.

haha I get it! It's definitely not for everyone and it was certainly on the crazier side! sometimes I like to push the boundaries ;)
