Thank you to all of you who posted such lovely comments! I feel so blessed and grateful! Also thank you to my new subscribers! To the few people who wonder why I didn’t show the entire performance. There’s a thing called artistic property. Also, the video hasn’t been released yet. I do not have permission to show the whole thing, but I can show some of the photos taken there. Of course I picked the best ones, I’m not really proud of my mediocre grand jeté. 😅 but I wouldn’t mind showing you that as well. Parts of the rehearsal of the choreography are in this video. The point of this video was not to show you an entire ballet gala, but to inspire all of you lovely dreamers to go after your dreams, no matter what! Whether you doubt yourself or other people doubt you and question everything you do. You just keep going! Much love, Tatyana ♥️

Beautiful young lady!! Are the grand jetes something to learn in younger years? Mine weren't the best either. I used to give it so much thought but I dismissed after awhile. My grand jetes needed work but my arabesque - beautiful !

Dear Tatyana, it is amazing what you have done! I have done a easy contemporary ballet coreography last year and I know how much work and discipline one needs to get little improvements! Keep going! I want to continue and be a more flexible ballerina at 50 years! If you want to share, it would be great to know how many hours per week have you been training at studio and at home.

I just had my ultimate dream come true. I was in ballet from 6 until a teenager. I was also competing in Figure Skating. My skating coach said Pointe would stiffen up my knees for skating. So I shouldn't do both. So I gave up Pointe. Which I didn't want to do. So at 55 I finally danced in a Professional Ballet the Nutcracker in the Party Scene as the Russian Mother. It was the most magical special moments of my life. You're absolutely right!!! Keep dreaming, they do come true. I Loved Your Dancing and You. She is absolutely stunning, like a swan queen, but in my opinion women way after 30 are generally at their prettiest and most attractive.
I think the society needs to stop with the ideology that women after their mid-thirties would be going "downhill".
      It's creepy and toxic.
They are not even middle aged yet! In my head, it is AFTER 30/35, when women start looking like actually adults.
Before that, in my opinion most of us still have this child/teenage features and I don't find that attractive, and in my opinion the world needs to stop romanticizing the child-like features on young people.
Sorry to rant at you, you have nothing to do with any of this, I just felt like this was a good place for me to add this for people to see.
      I'm 27, by the way. And I look like a baby😆

I started learning ballet the same age as you. I am 53 now, still doing it. I go to class 6-7 days a week. I have studied jazz and modern techniques for 12 years maybe. I've had the most amazing teachers - the biggest ballet stars in Bulgaria. Been on stage quite a lot, including at the National Opera House in Sofia. I am totally aware I can never be as good as someone who has started early and has been trained professionally. And yes - there was a lot of "negative clatter", as you put it. What I realized is that good technique is not as vitally important for an amazing performance as I had previously thought. It is your heart and soul, your art, that will be appreciated at the end of the day ❤️ Don't stop dancing!

I really needed this today. I started figure skating almost a year ago, and since I’ve started as an adult with no strength, flexibility, or even dance experience, it’s been really hard especially since I haven’t taken proper lessons and can’t afford a coach. I’ve been teaching myself and learning as I go with videos and asking friends for advice.
Sometimes I get discouraged, and it’s hard not to compare myself to the great skaters, but I’ve made a lot of progress this year, and I have to be kind to myself. Because against all odds, I decided to follow my dream.
I used to live in an area where there was really only one ice rink around and it was way too expensive even for public skating. Now I’m fortunate enough to live where there are at least five within a thirty minute radius ❤️
    Your dancing is beautiful!

I think for teachers, it doesn't matter at what level you are at, their interest is to see where each dancer is vulnerable and help them get strong, and that goes from beginner to professional. I joined a latin dance troupe when I was 40, we performed regularly, I learned so much about being on stage. Now I'm working on singing and I'm 63. So, never too late. Congratulations. I hope you continue your ballet.

I had multiple dance teachers.. some I’m grateful for but others weren’t supportive at all.. they constantly made it clear to me that I could never be any good because I was already too old.. you looked so beautiful in your performance. Thank you for reminding me that as long as I have my passion I am good enough and can only get better.

I've always wanted to be a ballet dancer but my parents never put me into dance because I have a connective tissue disorder that makes sports difficult and even dangerous. Now that I'm able to manage it better I feel more comfortable learning dance while still keeping myself safe. I dont think I'll ever be at the level of a professional.. but that's ok with me.

I’ve always been so fascinated of ballet and there were never any close ballet classes near me growing up so no one in my city never did ballet only the sports that they offered in school. Now I’m 23 and one of my biggest regrets is not asking my parents to take me to ballet classes. Even though the classes are far I know that my parents would have tried their best to take me. Now that I am older I still have that dream to do ballet but I always feel self conscious about it. By watching your video and other people’s videos who also started late gives me the confidence to just go for it. I know that I’ll never be as great as professional ballerinas but it’s just the idea of doing ballet that makes me happy.

Dear Tatyana, thank you beyond words for making this video! I nearly cried because this video has transformed a new meaning of life for me and redefining my dreams. Bless your teacher, Sandor Racz, for his phenomenal teaching. I wish more teachers had a perspective like him, where there is no good/bad but simply those who want to train and keep learning and growing. Your video came to me at a perfect time as I can compare myself quite often, making me hesitate to follow a dream. I wish growing up I had more resources and financial support to do something so amazing. When I see you having the opportunity to do ballet at a later age and following your dreams, it makes me feel less worried about following my dreams later in life. In fact, it makes me more hopeful and more inspired to do so. Thank you very much!♥

Dance was such a HUGE part of my childhood. I was never as involved as my peers who did company dance and started when they were a toddler, but I still took 3-5 classes a week for 6 years. Performing is my biggest passion: from dance recitals as a kid, to orchestra concerts as a teen, and theatre as a teen/young adult. I'm literally an Acting major in college, I LOVE the arts. I've been missing dance SO much these past few years (especially with moving and discovering that I've been unknowingly autistic my whole life, which brought up a lot of trauma and caused memory issues related to my childhood), and I'm so hyperfixated on ballet right now. When my boyfriend (who knows I've been watching a lot of ballet tiktoks lately) heard me turn on this video, he was like, "Is ballet your thing right now?" And I delved into this long tangent about how big it was for me as a kid, how much I miss it, and how many childhood dreams I never got to fulfill (getting to pointe-- I literally stopped the year I was taking pre-pointe--, being on my high school drill team that I'd gone to summer camps for as a kid, and performing in the Nutcracker alongside my family friend who was a soon-to-be professional ballerina before she got a medical condition that stopped her). I was so passionate well telling him these things that it's confirmed it for me. Plus, we talked about the money side and I can definitely afford it, and he's super supportive of it. There's a studio in my college town that offers adult beginner and intermediate ballet, so I'm going to register for the next year. It just makes sense-- the stage is my home, but my degree is for film and voice acting, so I won't be on the stage for my job, I don't think I want to join any orchestras again (just play my instrument at home), but ballet as a hobby would be a perfect way to get onstage as an adult. It was what made me fall in love with performance, and it would be a great hobby to get back into as an adult. The things you and your teacher said made me feel a lot more sure about beginning again, too. Everyone who I see online learn ballet as an adult never regrets it, so I won't either. I won't take it for granted again, and I won't let autistic burnout get in my way like it did in 7th grade, when I quit because I wasn't going to class and had lost my passion.

Thank you for this video! I t has really helped me with my motivation.
I preformed when I was 6-9 with a group twice my age because I was too advanced for the little kids classes. Recently I started ballet again after 10 years away with the dream to preform in the nutcracker, I'm only able to do one class a week because the studio does not offer a class for my age group more then twice a week and the second one is full, so I spend and hour every day working by myself at home. My instructor was blown away by my progress and skill within a month and refused to believe I hadn't danced in 10 years. I am so happy that this year I will be the first person ever from my studio to preform as Clara, not en pointe.
Dreams truly can come true if you put in the dedication and work. Now the goal is to preform sugar plum once I am en pointe.

oh my gosh!!! I gasped when I saw the name of this video and this is my first time seeing you ever and English is not my native language but I'm comfortably fine with it and I live across this world from where you are and just this fact that you get to pursue and do and achieve your dream at the age of 38 performing ballet (beautiful art of dancing) on stage is soooooooooooo beautiful and a true dream come true that I personally can understand and value soo much such experiences because a human with passion is 100% supposed to be living their passion and making it happen in real life 😢🥹😍🥰🫶🏻💕
Congrats and wish you all the best fellow human and the rest of good souls in this world 🙏🏻💖
