After 6000 it was looking better then most of the cars you can see on the roads 😅 Final result was a 💣
Wow, how easy this is. You just need about 1000 dollars of equipment including compressor and grinder and about two hours of work for one headlight plus assembly. Love it
You don’t need a compressor or grinder. This can all be done by hand for $40 total.

I noticed a little stone chip on the headlight that didn’t come out with 180. Do you think if you had of worked that area a little longer or do a few more passes that stone chip would have come out eventually ?

How much? This was amazing work.. exactly what i was expecting to see.. this works for all plastic headlights? I have a 2016 panamara and the lights pop off easy. They have sone small scratches that i want removed

Looks amazing, for a headlight with clearcut failure ( renault clio iv) i could start by hand with the 400 grit ? Or only with machine ?, also a good quality sealant like labocosmetica cupido could protect the headlights of reaplied lets say maybe 5 months? Best regards and awesome job ;)
Searth polymer vapour, its the easiest to apply and gives you the best finnish, its on aliexpress
Not sure you should have to sand more than once for deep scratches and use 3M polishing compound with a polisher instead of a sander to finish.

Why so many different numbers. I accidentally put some scratches horizontally on headlight, lords nows what number it was too(coarse block). So I need to start w 800?
I used a headlight kit on my headlights and after sanding , compound , than polishing there’s a bunch of swirl marks left . Can I just buy some better compound and polish and apply to headlight or do I have sand them again ?
I polish with the same products with which I polish the coating on the car and I have no problems

Jednpstavno vidis promjenu boje prilikom skidanja kako nestaje sloj zastite,imas u nekom od drugih videa prikazano kako to izgleda pa pogledaj
Vrhunski,jedno pitanje,posle vodobrusnog papira p1500 si išao sa p800 pa p2000,jel ima neki poseban razlog za to?
800 na masini je kao rucno 1500 al idem sa 800 da mi pokupi riseve sto ostanu od rucnog 1500

P800 and 800 are two different things.
800 is somewhere between P1500 and P2000 on the other scale

My car original headlight was completely destroyed and I bought a new one but now it's full of deep scratches and it's material is also little bit weak what should I do?
They can be made in 95% of cases because the plastic is thick enough to be sanded

What do I do wrong when some sanding marks are left in the headlight? I try to sand evenly by hand but some straight marks are always left
pressure on the machine, speed of the machine, type of paper, short work between switching to another paper granulation, etc

I just did a headlight . Started with a 1000 and went to 2000 then 2500 but once wiped I still have several areas that didn't clear. Should I go back to 800 and repeat the process? Also would a palm sander work or have to be high rpm ?
Go back to 800 on the bad areas. I’ve started with 400 on some headlights that were really bad

Hello after sanding and polishing with gyeon compound + ona wool pad then finishing with menzerna super polish on a finishing pad, I have swirl marks left. Any ideas on how I can finish swirl free?

I stopped at 3000, than tried turtle wax compound. And plastic. Still see lot of fine scratches
Should I go to 5000, and 6000?
The wax doesn't last very long and washes off quickly, the best protection is the PPF film

800 IMO
800 is the minimum, I’ve started with 400 on some headlights, depends on how bad they are. You don’t need to go beyond 2000 either.
Yes he is right 800 grit will be hard to work with I would shoot for 400 grit or 200 if that’s not enough then. For best results worn your way up 200 grit at a time; until you reach 3,000 then make sure to add a protective coating so it lasts

this type of headlight for this Porsche costs close to 2000 euros, so I don't think it's cheaper

You can always lower the volume. If not YOU chose to listen to the music.
what these videos don't explain is that you take out all the UV protection. So after a few months, the headlights will yellow
after my work, I put either ppf foil or ceramic protection on the headlights, it's not on the video, but it's on my fb page, so you can take a look
Very noisy
Bad job, should take 40 mins not 4/5 hours. The wipe on coating sucks also, its not designed for polycarbonate headlights and will not last long, would be more durable to spray it with a UV sealant clear coat specially designed for headlights. He also used way to much water during wet sanding. A much quicker, cheaper and better results process is: P500 dry, P800 Dry, 3M Trizact 3000 slightly wet, then machine polish with 3m plastic compound, then spray with UV clear seal.

Question for you... I am currently using all car pro products as well and have a new vehicle with swirl marks from the factory on the headlights b pillars and taillights... I am using reflect and a harbor freight ultra fine white foam polishing pad... I am getting extremely frustrated because it is not taking it out with the DA set to speed setting for (2/3 speed)... The b pillars still have swirls and maring from the DA... These plastic pieces are all I have left to do with my paint correction on the vehicle but I am getting super frustrated because reflect and the polishing pads worked great on the paint scratches and swirls!
you have to change the method, some pillars are too soft and leave marks, you have on my channel just how such a pillar is polished
