Shortly after the 2016 election, I was in the VA clinic ( dentist) the hygenist and I were talking about the election, and she told me that because she worked for the VA it was expected that she and others vote for Hillary. At that point I just said really ,and from that point it was all down hill from there. I had cancelled appointments, I waited almost 2 years before I had another dental appointment. Then when I went to see my medical doctor ,I was almost throwen out of the clinic. My meds have been decreased. I am at 100% because of agent orange. I have had lung cancer, now I keep getting these basil cancer cells pop up all over my body. VA don't do anything for me , except tell me to find a doctor that can treat them. Totally disappointing

Joined the Us Army 1974-1978 honorably discharged my first duty and only duty station 2 yrs In county 2 yrs overseas Germany, at 17 first duty station I was put into a junkie platoon went to rehabs never did drugs in my life until then all the Vietnam vets were coming back and had bad Drug habits, either you went along peer pressure or get your ass kicked badly scared out of my mind, so how can the VA judge me they were not in my shoes as with others even there Doctors are full of shit! Now I’m living with cirrhosis of the liver and they don’t want to give me any disability because they call it willful misconduct come on now I sure hope they all die of a horrible death and suffer for along time.

Back in 2019, The VA sent me the letter from debt management stating i owed 13k from an overpayment, and I had just received 30k for filing a intent to file 11 months prior to my 100%P&T. But there was no overpayment. Then i remembered that maybe 10-15 years prior I noticed that paperwork i saw stated that my initial rating of 10% was awarded like 2005, when it was actually awarded around 1992. They were trying to collect what i was paid from 1992 until 2005 since thats when the VA said thats when my disability started. They were taking almost 1500/mo until they were able to figure out what happened, well they figured it out, never told me the reason, an repaid me withheld funds. But the crappy part is that they did not remove this debt but instead forgave the debt, they forgave a debt that i never owed, what kind of *&(& is that? anyway, just an FYI

Has VA changed their opinion on letting the wife be a care giver of her veteran husband? VA allows you to pay and outsider for 8 hours per day
and then the wife is left with the other 14 hours per day. We need this changed, it makes no sense. Veterans can use the money since the wife has
to deal with it 14 hours per day

Check on why the VA doesn’t allow us to file for our travel allowance on the kiosk that we check in on for our appointment as we have done in the past. Now we are required to use the internet to file and many veterans don’t have internet in their area and also many don’t have a computer or how to use one.

My particular case is for over 15 years I sought treatment for pain in my ankle. I went to many reviews and doctors. I did many hours of painful rehab and physical therapy after a determination of a chronic sprang ankle from the military doctors with 10% disability rating. For years I was in unfathomable pain and suffering from large bone growths not knowing what to do. Afterwards I seen a surgeon after a year of taking pain shots to find out I had a large cyst, a pinched nerve, and large amounts of bone spurs growing around the cyst that had to be taken out and a bone graph from my hip. I suffered for many years, I lost many opportunities and jobs because of the pain. I have literally cried many times at work from it. My life has been miserable because I was pushed aside by the very institutions that promised to take care of me. I am not alone, there are many like me. That is why 22 veterans a day lose their lives to suicide.
