  • In this Canva tutorial I'll show you how to remove the background of an image or photo in Canva. The background remover tool is a Pro Canva feature, which is not available on the free version.
    Don't have Canva Pro?
If you don't have the Canva Pro search for "Background Remover" inside the Canva apps section to find a free background remover tool.

Does this process make the background transparent, and will the main image be something that can be used to create a seamless pattern? Sorry, I don't know the proper terminology. What I'm trying to do is upload some of my artwork, remove the background, and create repeat seamless patterns. Thanks so much for your great tutorials!

Thank you! Yes, it will make the background transparent and you'll be able to use it in a seamless pattern. What you're trying to do should work well as long as the outline of your motif or artwork is contrasting to the paper. Did you need a tutorial for making a seamless pattern? I've got one here if you need: ruclips.net/video/cwS0ftz7McI/видео.html
