When I saw the title I expected torture but it turned out to be a calm conversation between two struggling people, so it's safe to say I was pleasantly surprised

I really like this idea of how Spiderman interacts with his villains. How they're so honest with each other, and how they rescheduled the entire fight like it was a meeting. Also hearing Gobby talking fondly about his wife, idk, it's just very heartwarming.

I wasn’t expecting it to be this wholesome. But I really like how this went. It ended up going from Spider Man being furious at Goblin for throwing a pumpkin bomb at his area to them actually relating to personal stuff, and then just going home and avoiding conflict for the rest of the week.. I really liked this one.

In the comics his wife died years before he ever met Spider-Man and he threw himself into his work, becoming distant from their son Harry and also increasingly ruthless. He got his business partner fired and stole his research on an experimental superhuman serum. Harry, still a kid and mad at being neglected, messed with the formula, with caused it to explode in Norman's face and turned him into the Goblin to begin with. So in reality, if he WAS still married, he might not be the Goblin in the first place.

This dynamic between them reminds me of like Sam sheepdog and Ralph the wolf from looney toons. Yeah they fight and are against each other, but at the end of the day they’re just doing their job and are pretty chill with each other.
