Use glass liquid cook top cleaner ONLY! Don't use powder it will micro-scratch the glass or damage the heating elements. When using a blade use a wide razor with a handle its made for ceramic tiles from hardware store. Dont saw back and forth. Scape the blade in one direction, lift and repeat with each pass to avoid damaging the glass. Skip the car wax it will keep the burners from heating up. I like to use Orange Glo 🍊 tangerine oil made for wood stainless steel to finish the job!
In theroy Steel has a mohs hardness of 4 Glass ceramic has a hardness of 6-7 The stove is harder than steel. So you cant scratch the stove with a razor blade, but you can scratch the razor blade with glass ceramic

Stainless steel appliance cleaner works amazing on the glass cooktops. Also on counters tops. Makes them really shine!

I had a glass cook top and nothing cleaned it better than Glass Cook Top Cleaner & Polish, the stuff they sell specifically for glass cook tops.

Barkeepers Friend cleans much better than my glass top cleaner. So, I clean first with BkF, and polish with the glass cooktop cleaner.

Cerapol sells a glass cooktop sealant. Why would you use car wax of all things?
I just use a silicone brush dish soap and baking soda paint the mixture on the stove top let it sit an hour everything comes off

You can use the blade on your oven to after you soak it a little with easy off.
