  • Virgin Australia Airlines (VH-XFJ) [Gnaraloo Bay] Airbus A330-243 departing Perth Airport on RW03.
    This aircraft first flew on August 26, 2014 and was delivered to VA on September 22, 2014.
    On March 21, 2020 it was withdrawn from use and was stored at Avalon Airport (YMAV) on March 24, 2020 until it was moved to Melbourne Tullamarine (YMML) on September 16 2020.
    On October 21, 2020 it was returned to the lessor, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, stored at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport (LFBT) in France and re-registered to (2-HXFJ) on October 30, 2020.
    On April 18, 2023 it was delivered to Boliviana de Aviación (CP-3209) the flag carrier airline of Bolivia and is wholly owned by the country's government.

    honestly they need them back, even if they get the 787 for boeing fleet commonality, the east west routes feel so cramped with them, let alone cairns to tokyo, that would be hell on a 737

    Definitely missed , we need Virgin wide bodies on the east west routes again , those 737s just don't cut it.

    Now it’s just 737s, A320s and Fokker 100s I’m pretty sure

      Pretty much.
      737 700s, 800s and Max8s.
      They're talking about some E-jets, but I doubt they'll ever happen.
