    Your video was very informational, however, email an invoice is not complete "auto-pilot" because you have to wait for the client to complete the invoice to receive your payment. Do you have a video for using the "auto charge a payment on file" button along with a reoccurring 6 month auto-charge or auto payment?

    • @souldrivensolopreneur
      @souldrivensolopreneur  3 года назад +2

      Thanks for the feedback. If you have an established/older Stripe account where you can enter their credit card details, you can auto-charge the card on file with their permission, of course. Not sure if that's the case for you... Having said that, there's a new feature Stripe recently released that offers an easier solution and I will make a video about this in a bit. So stay tuned.

    at the end of every month is the costumer gonna receive the invoice to pay manually ? cant it be automated ? also is the first option in payment method which is "automatically charge " will be available after first payment from costumer , and what they mean by "file" , and how to add it ?.
    THANKS.

    • @souldrivensolopreneur
      @souldrivensolopreneur  3 года назад +1

      Good point. If you set it up as a recurring payment, the invoices will be sent out on auto-pilot every month (or whatever cycle you set up), however, as it is invoice-based, the customer would need to pay or type in their details every month to approve the payment. Re. your other question - what kind of files do you want to add?

    I own a preschool. The enrollment software I utilize uses stripe to run customer payments. I would like to continue to use the enrollment software to gather student information and the enrollment fee. I could charge the monthly tuition through the enrollment software but then I will be paying additional fees. The initial enrollment fee for the customer will be through the enrollment software and then stripe but once I have their information in stripe can I set up recurring charges for the monthly tuition? If I can collect monthly tuition payments directly through stripe then I can avoid the enrollment software fee. The monthly tuition would be the same for all students.

    • @souldrivensolopreneur
      @souldrivensolopreneur  3 года назад

      Makes totally sense that you want to get the data and initial payment via the enrolment software. So here's what I'd do with the ongoing one. Option 1) You could create a recurring payment via Stripe for each family (as explained in the video) for the ongoing monthly fees, but the client would need to make the payment each month whenever they receive the invoice per email. (Note: the invoice/email will be sent out automatically so you don't need to worry.) If the families are easy to deal with and mostly pay on time, it's all straightforward - if not, this could turn into quite a bit of a "manual" follow-up work for you/your team. Option 2) If your pre-school is quite big, I'd consider investing into a shopping cart solution and set up the recurring payments once and they'll be charged on auto-pilot from then on. The shopping cart solution that I'd recommend is available for a one-time fee (approx. $500-700 USD) and you can keep everything you charge for apart from whatever the merchants - e.g. Stripe, Apply Pay, PayPal - deduct from the amount. If you're interested, let me know and I'm happy to send you the link to it. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions, Emilee.

    • @souldrivensolopreneur
      @souldrivensolopreneur  2 года назад +1

      @@victoralarcon6351 It depends on how you deliver the monthly goods. From a payment perspective you simple charge once (so not even recurring) and that's it or you set the payment cycle to 3 months and let it end after one cycle (see settings shown in the video around the 7:30-min mark).

    • @souldrivensolopreneur

      @@CurtisAST Gotcha. What would work for sure is if you send out the invoice for the initial amount (one-off) and then set up the recurring payments as a second step. However, the client would still need to initiate the payment each month on their end. If you want to charge automatically and have everything in one go, I'd use a shopping cart solution for this.
